This was the best thing I could have bought on this site. The grid mat is so nice! The marker and eraser that came with it are alright but it leaves marks so you know where you marked out. My husband and I use this three times a week when we have our game days. This has been THE best grid mat over there. It fits perfectly on the kitchen table and it's really durable. You can wipe it down with anti-bacterial wipes, or baby wipes, or anything.A bit of advice, when you go to store it, roll it up. If you just fold it it'll get a bunch of creases that can knock over your miniatures and make your dice rolls invalid. Rolling it makes sure there are nothing to hamper the little pieces and dice.I rate this at an 11/10!

I have read many of the reviews and to be honest I was concerned based on many of the; less than glowing, reviews. But, I must say that I am VERY satisfied with this mat. The shipping issues noted in previous reviews were not present. The mat was tightly rolled and protected with a core tube and shrink wrap. It was not bent, or flattened. The edges of the mat were crisp and in good condition. The Box itself was beat up, but the contents well protected. I have only used wet erase markers because I had heard that dry-erase do not work and leave "scaring" or faint traces. I do wipe them off immediately after game play is done. The printing on the vinyl is crisp and clear, no blemishes! I am very satisfied with this product and would definitely purchase from this seller and manufacturer again!

It's good, it cleans off pretty easily, but it needs washable crayola markers, not dry erase markers. That's a little annoying, so hopefully...you read these reviews before you buy this and get washable markers instead of dry erase ones! It's still great, though.

We've tried using Dry Erase and Wet Erase markers on this. They don't clean off well. The mat is fine graphically, I bought it because I needed a hex mat on one side and grid on the other. We have other grid mats that wipe off just fine using the same markers, but this one 'stains' and leaves a trace behind if you try to wipe it or use water or spray.

Pros:-Came Rolled Up-Crayola washable markers work wonders on this map.-23x25 squares on one side. I didn't count hexes.Solid material-CheapCons:-Stinks, make sure you air it out or wash it-Some lines missing. Fine tip Permanent marker and a ruler fix this.-Some markers will stain, the best markers are Crayola Washable Markers, leaves no permanent marks, even after 24 hours (I tested it myself).-Edges were cut by a monkey? Or child labor is not what it used to be. Easy enough to fix as well.

These are great for gaming.I bought both versions. I'd love if they got around to making some smaller sized hexagons for some travel gaming, but these are more than enough for most any setting.I'd recommend buying a flexible clear plastic sheet in the size of the board you purchase if you want to write on this with erasable markers. For the most part they'll erase fine, but a humid day or a particularly aggressive child can find a way to stain most anything. That's not a mark against the product. Just something to consider with where you are keeping it.Another thing... never store one of these in a room where there is a lot of tobacco smoke. You'll end up with a very antique looking board if you do.

My mat arrived rolled up, so creases were no issue for me. However, the mat was cut so one edge was curved, not straight. No big deal, it doesn't cut off the print, I just get OCD about it.The serious issues are the bad print quality and the inability to remove and wet erase markers or even chalk paint markers off if the surface. I noticed the description says not to use expo brand markers on the mat, but I have failed to find any reasonably priced wet erase markers of any other brand. I'm not spending $25 for a wet erase marker. At this rate I'll have only so many games to play before the mat will have too many stains to be usable. What a waste of money.

Will come creased but that's fixable. It works well if you are placing minis on but I wouldn't recommend drawing directly on this product because it will stain.
