Value is everything and this Laptop has that.
This laptop is a great buy, I have had many computers though the years and this one is just as good if not better than $1100 computers I have had in the past. I use it in my brewery and It works great for all the software I need. Seems to be pretty responsive and I have had no problems what so ever.I would like to point out that a few reviewers complain about the processor, if you read the description completely it states that the processor clocks up to 2.5 when needed (no false addvertising!) so in a sense it is a 2.5. I used to work on computers and too many times people feel the need to have a super computer even though what they are using it for does not warrant speed. This computer is fast and capable of performing most tasks, is it built for gaming? NO! Will it perform as a typical Laptop? Absolutely! This laptop is a great all around everyday computer, value is everything and this laptop has that.As for battery life the description states 4 to 5 hours, I have had it on in my brewery a few times for 6 hours without any problems, having said that, I'm sure over time that figure will decrease but then again that's just how batteries work.Over all very satisfied.

Not a 2.5 GHz Processor False Advertising
I was loading antivirus software on the laptop and I decided to look at the system. That is when I noticed the processor is at 1.1 GHz rather than the 2.5 GHz that is advertised. It can be overclocked but if you are buying this for the processor speed, don't waste your money!

keyboard screwed up
The keyboard is screwed up. When you type Q or Z, you get ZQ. When you type T, you get VT. When you type B, you get BU. When you hit the space bar, you get J and a space.

Processor speed and general office documents
Just received and it was pretty easy to set up. Processor seems to be okay even though it is not a true 2.5 gig. I will know more when we get it fully loaded and in service. Hopefully it can carry the load.

Meets my needs
This laptop seems competent, and durable. I haven't really done anything advanced with it, but it seems comparable to other laptops that are twice the price.

a perfect birthday present
i got this for my grandma for a early Christmas and birthday present since she wanted nothing else at all and her old laptop was going so slow, she could not play cards or any other simple games and there was a lot of dead pixels so her old laptop was close to its end days. this laptop is super fast not my words these are her words she loves it a lot she can play her games without any troubles it got a great battery life and she really likes how the charging port is on the back of the laptop and not on the side like most laptops. so overall she said its a great laptop she is still enjoying it a lot thank you guys so much you made her year so much better
