Small enough to be mailed via US Post Office in an envelope. Open it up and lay it flat on the keyboard. That's IT!! Fits like a glove. It doesn't shift, slide, move at all. It just lays there in the little bay surrounding the keyboard and protects the keys and gaps from most anything from dust to crumbs to accidental drops of liquid.I think it's washable (off the laptop of course)...probably gently with water and if needed some light soap. Maybe someone can comment on this.It does add a gray tint to looking at the keys but they are still very readable...at least when the cover is new. It seems durable enough to last quite a while but we haven't had it long enough to verify this or if it protects keyboard letters from wear but it feels like it will both last and protect . If you want this type of protection, especially working under outdoor or dirty conditions, , this item is highly recommended.

DOES NOT FIT my Lenovo. Look at my attached photos I bought this SAME item few years ago and on re-purchase 2nd time it is a much CHEAPER SCALED DOWN piece of garbage.equally important to just COVERING each key is to provide a border protection of the left, right top and bottom corners of the keyboard that the last one I purchased from the vendor. I simply repurchased the same one but the manufacturer SKIMPS on the side protection (See Photos of my old one and this one) SAME item number from SAME seller.. I REPURSHASED AGAIN.- CONS- Diameter is smaller- Doesnt overlap outside L-R-T-B corners as did the previous one yet their picture advertised depicts it overlapping sides so fluid, dust cant get in the sides (See photos )- Due to CHEAP manufacturing and SKIMPING on material it does NOT co(photo with green outline is my original one ordered from this seller few years ago, Notice the overlapping protection AND left and right of space bar protection whereas NEW one (RED outlined photo) does not have same protection. SKIMPINGI purchased this SAME order a few years ago and re-purchased it again.The original purchase a few years ago it fit 100% and this one does NOT.CONS -- Skimping on silicon protection area of keyboard.-Reduced area protection coverage- Does not sit over the keys as well as previous one purchased (No deep indentation)- PgUp\PgDn\arrow keys use to have their OWN indentation coverage, now its just one big rectangle indentation that does not sit well.Look at my Original silicon photo and the new one arrived today, notice the skimping on silicon coverage.GOING BACK

This item fit my Lenovo P71 . Upon opening the package with scissors, cutting along the mark lines the product was damaged while opening the package.

The media could not be loaded. My keyboard has been free of dust and debris since I bought it. Aside from stuff getting down in the cracks being gross, I imagine it has to extend the life of my computer indirectly. A good buy. If something happened to this one, I would buy the same one again.

I gave this as a gift to a family member who had to replace his keyboard because he was not the neatest when it came to keeping his keyboard clean of debris, which ended up causing keys to fail. After a couple of months of use, he says this skin has definitely been a keyboard saver. It does not impede his typing in any way, which is great. So, this product is good insurance to keep your keyboard working properly, especially if you or someone you know is less than meticulous with keyboard cleanliness.

Fits perfectly but doesn’t remain in place. I can see the benefits from preventing food or water spills to some degree but you really shouldn’t eat anything over a computer.
