Well pitched as a phone for the elderly
Obviously there’s nothing about this phone that’s in any way cutting edge or exciting, but that’s not the point- it’s openly aimed at people who would struggle with the complexity of a modern smartphone and who just need a way to make rare or emergency calls (or be called) in the simplest way possible, with big easy-to-read buttons suitable for the hard-of-sight and so on.For that purpose, it’s quite strong. It’s easier to use than to set up, so I do agree that somebody more tech-savvy should be enlisted to set it up first time round, install the SIM card (not included as standard), set the fast-dial numbers and so on. Once set up though, the clear black-and-white main display is intuitive enough. The letters on the number keys made me nostalgic for the old Nokia days when 160-character text messages took ages to type.Technically, it’s OK. Battery life is alright-ish, for what it is. It’s another nostalgic throwback to the days when, because these phones didn’t have powerful all-singing all-dancing processors and screens, they were capable of holding a battery charge for several days straight without issues. That being said, I do think it’s average battery life for its style rather than the super-long battery life that might better suit an elderly person who’s quite forgetful and rarely remembers to charge it. Charging is through a micro-USB socket, the ubiquitousness of which is handy because it means you can charge it with any micro-USB cable you’ve already got.The charging stand is another good idea- it may seem like an unnecessary extra bit of plastic, but in fact it could work as a good aid for somebody forgetful who normally struggles to remember where they’ve put their keys or their phone etc. If the charging stand stays in one place, it’s easier to remember where your phone is.Though it’s aimed at the elderly more, my mother-in-law already has a big-button phone so we’ve taken the unusual step of giving it to our daughter, so she can call us in an emergency. The principle’s the same, and so it’s just as suited for that purpose- and our daughter isn’t old enough to be trusted with a real smartphone and all the apps and social media minefields that technology opens up. It’ll never be “cool” and hopefully that will reduce the chances of anyone wanting to grab it.There are several big-button phone options on the market nowadays, including others from TTfone, and I don’t think this one pushes itself to the top of the class. Push comes to shove, I’d probably recommend a Doro over this, but only just. Nevertheless it’s a nice little package, and useful for someone who needs a cheap simple phone, not a smart phone.

Don’t buyyyy!!
Awful don’t recommend anyone buying this the battery came swollen and the phones screen don’t work at all and my Amazon box was completely fine so definitely wasn’t the delivery drivers fault it was the seller selling faulty and quite frankly dangerous products Waste of money!

Hello! This is the nineties calling!
This was taken for my eight year old son. I don't want him having a smart phone with full on access to goodness knows what on the internet, I just wanted him to have a phone we could call to, he could easily call from, and so that we can track the sim card if necessary. On the face of it, this did seem to fit the bill. Essentially it is a no frills flip phone with quite big buttons. However, whilst it did meet our criteria, the user interface was exactly like you used to have back in the nineties - right down to having to use the multiple taps on the numbers to write a text. I can't help think that even at this low price point, they could have adopted some of the advances in phone interfaces since the nineties and made this phone even easier to use. Positives are the battery seems OK, and for a situation where you have an elederly relative or young child who are only contacting the same people then it does do the job.
