I love the blanket I just don't like that after I wash it I have to tie all the little strings from the inside together. Other than that it's great

It's my own fault for not reading the description but this blanket was seriously small!!! I Have an almost 3 year old and it doesn't cover his body. Either his feet hang out of his body is exposed from his armpits up. I can't imagine who would Iliad a blanket this small. It's more like a lap blanket I guess. My sons way to active to sit with something on his lap. He really seems to enjoy the weight though so I'm going to just make my own I think.

I ordered this blanket for my 3 year old with sensory processing issues. The blanket looks great and is comfortable for him. As advertised it is nice and cool despite the weight. He has overheated under other blankets before but not this one. I also really like that it is made in the US and is all natural fibers and fill.The blanket has benefitted my son by:1) he now uses only this blanket to sleep; before this he wanted multiple blankets to get the right comfort and it was often too hot for him2) he seems to sleep better most nights but still wakes up a lot of nights. So, it's not a miracle cure for sleep problems but we have gone from usually 3 wake ups at night down to usually 1 and sometimes he sleeps through.3) he really likes the blanket and goes to bed easier nowThe things I wish were different about it:1) it is a little short. Barely covers his feet when tucked up to his neck. He will outgrow this pretty quickly2) the weighted interior is not anchored to the outer duvet so it's easy for it to get bunched up funny and takes some finagling to get the weight evenly distributed on him when I tuck him in.Still overall a great product and the only weighted blanket I could find where I don't have to worry about overheating. When he outgrows this one I'll be searching for another one from the same maker. definitely worth the price for the quality.
