For anybody that's wondering, this key works for a 2002-2003 bugeye WRX. It's a heavy duty key and worth the cost. Just be sure that you take it to a legitimate locksmith to have it cut because the hardware store is not a good choice for this key. Needless to say, it looks awesome in comparison to a bare Subaru key so there's that aspect as well.

OEM key, great value

Purchased for my 2004 forester XT. Had it cut by a locksmith and it works perfectly. Will not work on 05-08 xt’s as they have the immobilizer built into the key.

Beautiful addition to any Subaru enthusiast’s key ring! I bought this for my 2001 Forester and had it cut at a hardware store. Beautiful design, although the “handle” of the key does wear quite quickly leaving a slight oiled patina. It is heavier than a standard key, by probably 3-4 times.

Use it every day!

Works for 06/07 sti as long as your smart and get a stock key with transponder then I installed that to this key best of all worlds! Some people install transponder to dash which is dumb then a screwdriver will start your sti. Make sure to test transponder location on the key to ensure it’s stays running if the transponder isn’t close enough the car will start then die! Great mod
