Solid product with minor negatives.
Overall the product is a great addition to my home in Hawaii where the groundwater temperature is quite warm. I mainly purchased this unit for Cold water but have tested the hot water feature as well. The hot water is quite hot as the manual indicates, however the cold water is a little bit lacking. I get significantly better results by putting bottles of water in my refrigerator but I grew tired of wasting the space. The convenience of quick cool water definitely makes up for having to fill up bottles and take up fridge space. The noise levels were entirely unnoticeable for me even in a quite household. On occasion the cooler kicks in and gives off a similar hum to the refrigerator but this was in no way a nuisance. The "negatives" I mentioned are minor and really do not have an effect on the performance but the screws on the bottom were inserted at awkward angles as though someone haphazardly took a drill to the machine. The other more significant negative was that the push levers seemed to be quite flimsy and similar to another reviewer, I found that the hot water unit was a little crooked.Again, these negatives are minor and do not effect the performance of the machine. For the price point, I expected a little bit higher build quality but the machine performs well enough to outweigh the minor negatives.

So glad I finally broke down and bought a water dispenser
So glad I finally broke down and bought a water dispenser! Because of our dogs I wanted one that could be on the counter to keep them from licking the spigots and this works perfectly. There are other review that say the flow of water is too slow but I haven't had any problems with that at all. It keeps the water very cold, dispenses quickly, and is perfect for our needs.

Good unit for small office that I use part time and didn't last
Good unit for small office that I use part time. Not to expensive and works well once we flushed it out. At first the water had a terrible taste, my wife called company and they told her how to clean it and it's been great for awhile then the hot water heater quit working. At first the hot turned to a trickle then wouldn't work at all. I did call in for help and they wanted me to try some procedures which I did and did not work. I didn't have time to constantly be calling for help and i finally thru the unit away.

Sub par product despite a brand name
Very disappointing considering this is a name brand product. It did a barely adequate job of cooling and heating water for less than 3 years; now the cooling element is shot so it gives us water at room temperature. We don't know if it's worth fixing, or if we should we buy a unit that might last. It's hard to find quality these days.

Poor design
Heats & cools water great. Small, light enough to move (without water bottle on it.) Very stable & relatively quiet. Very much dislike the levers on the spigots. The rubber pad is too small & not 'grabby' enough to provide a solid hold while filling receptacles. Glasses & mugs often slip, causing splashes. The 'safety' button on the hot water is a built-in hazard of its own. This is a stupid design caused by misdirected intentions to keep children from using it. The lever must be pushed all the way in with the lip of the receptacle, held in one hand, while the button is pushed with the other hand. The previously mentioned lack of grip of the levers makes this a guaranteed opportunity for spilled/splashed hot water. Also, in another misguided attempt to save us from ourselves, the hot water pour rate is almost half that of the cold water, meaning you must hold the receptacle & push the button for far longer than reasonable, to get the same amount of water. Once again, a recipe for disaster.

Good purchase
This unit works very well in my small retail shop to provide cold and hot water for customers. The hot water child safety button flummoxes some folks... but that's preferable to me than a scalded kiddo. Sometimes there's a lag as heats fresh water if it's being used a lot. But when that happens a little light comes on so folks know what is going on, which I really like. So for our purposes that's really not a big problem. I wish it heated faster but I'm not willing to pay lots more for a model that's more hard core.Footprint is very compact - actually kind of amazingly fantastically so - which was a large reason why I bought this model. The four little feet on the bottom don't seem to be entirely level, but that was easily fixed with a shim under one of them. If someone was moving it a lot that could be an issue, but for us it has a set home and just stays there.I also bought a Greenway filtering unit for the top so we just pour water in with a pitcher from the tap and it comes out filtered and just the right temp.Great purchase for me. I'm giving it four stars because because 4.5 isn't an option and a few things aren't totally perfect. (For me five stars means no more comparison shopping, I'm in love, I'm telling my mom to buy it.) But if I scroll though Amazon and don't see anything better I'd absolutely buy this little guy again when the current unit gives out from the heavy use it gets.

wonderful working tabletop
so many tabletops have bad reviews, but this one Really really works well - super hot water and cold water. NO leaks no mess and it does what it says.Have it on a cart with wheels. It will use 3 gallon and 5 gallon -using BLUEWAVE 3 GALLON. iT IS A QUIET MACHINE EXCEPT FOR A VERY LOW SOUND WHEN HEATING WATER. IT DOES NOT NEED TO TURN ON OFTEN.FOR THOSE WHO SAY WATER IS TOO HOT, PUT A BIT OF COLD WATER IN THE CUP AND THEN THE HOT. it IS NOT A CHEAP LOOKING UNIT AND I WOULD bUY THIS AGAIN. MORE THAN WELL PLEASED WITH USE AND PRICE!!!

This is the worst cooler I've ever had
This is the worst cooler I've ever had. First the hot water thing didn't work right water barely came out. They sent me a new thing to put on it. Worked better but always leaked. The leak got worse as time went on. I had to dump the full catch tray everyday. Then the hot water coil must have broke because the water was just spilling out from the top all over the floor. This is the worst and over priced piece of crap! DO NOT BUY THIS! It is only 3 years old and i'm now having to buy a new one!
