It is a good quality instrument. Works well during surgery.

I am a retired veterinarian, I always bought expensive name brand insturments. These are very comparable for a fraction of the cost. totally adequate for occasional use

The package it came in was a bit odd and left some adhered paper residue on the metal from the packaging (perhaps, keep them in a thick plastic baggy for shipment). The jaws don’t close until the first click which can be a hassle but they worked very well and the scissor portion was sharp and cut suture adequately. I used them in practice and closed up a cosmetic digit amputation on a goat patient and they held up really well. Good value for the money! And size was perfect; felt good in the hand.

Haven't used them yet but they feel better than the expensive pair from the veterinary supplier.

Work great for crafting with string and thread. Well made.

Works as it should

I got this as a cheaper alternative to a more expensive brand recommended by surgeons at veterinary school because I only needed them for one lab. I can see why doctors don't recommend this brand. They have a lot of tension and friction when handling and seem to need some oil. Not ready out of the box. These made for a very unpleasant lab.
