My original, Norelco, 7 year old charger had insulation breaking down on it wire, like very old wires do. That was unexpected. So went for this one and it works. For now. And hopefully for the next few years.One good thing about this charger is that the power plug pin has the wire coming out at 90 degrees from the original plug. That is, it does not cover the power outlet below. Need to check out if that works for you or not.

Don’t use if your Razors been dead for months
I can’t say if this product is good or bad, it didn’t work for my Norelco 4100. This could be due to the amount of time that my 4100 was dead after I lost the charger or the age of the razor(3-4yrs) but it could also be incompatible with the charger too. Just be cautious when purchasing.

Very close fit
This charger works but it isn't a perfect fit. It charges my unit but I think because it is so universal, it isn't easy to attach.

the adapter was a replacement for the charger that came with shaver. It fit perfectly and even came with a little brush to clean shaver head. Great value.

Good Quality Solid Product
After bad experience with other sellers and their products, I almost gave up on my Philips shaver to get a proper working power adapter.Then I found this product listed on Amazon, and decided to give it a try.The product arrived on scheduled time and properly packed. I checked the adapter and tested it and WoW, my shaver is revived and back to normal operation. Even it is better than the original adapter as it is faster in charging.Thanks and regards

Works like the original!
I bought this charger because the cover on the wires on my original one were flaking off. This charger works as well as the one that came with my electric razor.

This adapter destroyed my Andis P0519
I bought this adapter as a 2nd for my Andis P0519. As soon as I plugged it in to charge, the light on my Razor began blinking (which it is not supposed to do). After I took it off, the razor no longer worked. Even when I plugged it into the original charger, it no longer worked. This adapter is a piece of crap. Please don't order. Now I have to order a new razor.

Extremely fast shipping
Works great. Showed up the NEXT DAY, which was perfect as my shaver had nearly died (lost the original charger) once everything was charged again, I found the original charger (facepalm) but now I will have one for travel and backup for when I inevitably lose one again. Compatible with my Philips Norelco Shaver 4000
It was delivered quickly undamaged. I bought this as a replacement because I lost my original few months ago, and I couldn't bear with manual shaving with shaving cream because it was too much work. After arrival, I just plugged in the charger and connected to my Philips Norelco Shaver 4000. Now the shaver is fully charged, and I can shaver electronically again.
