KOHLER25 050 22-S1 Fuel Filter, 2 Pack

I own a Simplicity Prestige 20 HP Hydro tractor and use this Kohler Premium Fuel Filter #25 050 22-S1 on its Kohler Command Model CV20S engine. This is the same fuel filter that came factory-installed on that engine when I purchased the tractor brand new back in 2004.I typically run my tractor with an average use of only 50-60 hours per year. This filter is relatively inexpensive so I choose to replace it annually at the end of the mowing season and before wintertime storage. Annual replacement was specifically recommended to me by my local Simplicity dealer as providing some cheap preventive maintenance. By doing so, the fuel system can be kept clean for the purpose of preventing engine damage and extending the life of its expensive internal components. I now have 1037 hours on my tractor and have yet to experience any sort of fuel-related issue… knock on wood.In the past, I’ve considered instead purchasing the Kohler EXTRA CAPACITY Fuel Filter Part #24 050 13-S for use on my engine. While I have never experienced any sort of decreased engine performance using this smaller premium fuel filter, I did wonder about the possible benefits of upsizing to that extra capacity filter. However, not just one but two of my local Simplicity dealers have informed me that switching is unnecessary and I should simply continue using this smaller, premium fuel filter which is the one specified for my CV20S engine according to their supersession parts compatibility info.As expected and shown in the Amazon listing photos, the two filters I received in the mail were each enclosed in their sealed Kohler Genuine Parts product packaging. This assured me that the filters I received were Genuine Original Equipment (OEM) parts and not some inferior aftermarket "replacement" or "made to fit" ones that might compromise on proper fit, quality, and performance.Worth noting here is that the Amazon seller from whom I purchased my 2-pack of filters was ‘Brand New Engines’. While the price represented a great value and their shipping was prompt, both filters were placed into a single poly-bubble mailer instead of a box (presumably to save on the shipping cost), thereby causing some crush damage of the individual plastic product packaging to be sustained during delivery (shown in Photos #5 and #6). Fortunately, the plastic filters themselves were undamaged. As a result of that broken/open packaging, however, I now have to place each filter in a bag or other sealable container so as to avoid the possibility of introducing any dirt or other contaminants into the filter during their storage and prior to installation on my tractor.In summary, I’m really pleased with this OEM fuel filter. The fact that it’s being offered here in this listing as a 2-pack makes it even a better value for me, especially considering its overall quality combined with the relatively low cost. I’ll definitely be purchasing this 2-pack of fuel filters again.

These were purchased for routine maintenance for a Cub Cadet RZT with Kohler engine. There was only a generic brand in local stores. This deal included 2 for almost the price of one generic so it was a no brainer. They showed up as advertised and are Kohler brand. They come as two pack but are individually packaged so you can have one to replace and a spare that is protected in packaging for easy storage.They replace easily. There are plenty of YouTube videos that are good visual how to's if needed. The basics are remove one line at a time and either pinch the line gently with some locking pliers while positioning the new or just hold it upright so fuel doesn't spill out of the line. The same procedure can be performed with the other end of the line. The filter was replaced within a couple of minutes or less.

These are the real deal not some bs China knock offs. Comes in sealed kohler display box as show on ad. Theres so many scams on oem parts, misleading ads and other terrible things. Will buy again here.Update: Lowered to one star because of price gouging. Buy elsewhere.

This clearly is a Kohler OEM 25 050 22-S sold at a great price.I own a Husqvarna riding mower which sports akohler 7000 series 25hp 725 twin cyl model: KT740Per the spec plate/decal of the engine the OEM fuel filter number is this part#/listing.So despite kt-740 not appear on listing page, this is the correct part#I have a few now but when the time comes I'll order this again.

I purchased a generic filter and it leaked out all my gas. I bought original equipment filter and had no further problem. It's worth a couple dollars more.

I try to buy OEM equipment for my mowers and this fits the bill. You can buy cheaper generic filters but with Kohler you know what you're getting.

I like to maintenance my mowers a lot, and like to use OEM products as much as possible. These are OEM and work perfect.

Received the two pack. Used one right away on my Cub Cadet lawn tractor. Fit perfectly. Nice to know I have a spare.
