Broke my paddle, Connections issues, and stopped working
The slots are harsh on the GameCube connectors when plugged in, it broke one of my controller's connectors. It had multiple instances of connection issues. Sometimes I spent 30 minutes trying to get controllers to connect to the switch. Completely stopped working after less than 100 uses. Not worth buying.

Game Cube Controller adapter for Switch
We play a ton of super smash ultimate on our Switch and my son wanted to use the wired Game Cube controller from previous games. This adapter has a usb on one end and plugs directly into our Nintendo Switch. He then is able to plug his Game Cube controller into the other end. We can in fact plug in upto 3 more game cube controllers.Works for exactly as described!

Good Adapter
This adapter works well. We haven't had any problems with it. It's great to be able to play more than two of us now, and I hope this will last for a good long time!

Works as intended right out of the box with the Switch.
Since I've got the ethernet adapter, I just used the two ports on the side of the Switch dock. Completely plug-n-play.

It works
I was nervous ordering this since no one has ordered one yet, but I needed it for a party I was hosting and the only one that was going to arrive on time. Once I plugged it in my Switch and put one of the Gamecube controllers in, it worked great.
