I bought them to hold my Misen Stainless Steel pots and pans ( lids as well) on the side of a 6-Shelf Steel Rack I got from BJs. The Rack is being used to hold Appliances, Enameled Dutch Ovens, and various other things I use often but not every day.After I got it set up I thought it would be great to get hooks to hold things I do use every day or almost every day. Like my P&P CHEF Colander Set and my Misen Stainless cookware ( I have10" and 12" Skillets as well as 6 QT Rondeau with lid and a 3 quart Saucier with lid). The hooks work great! The everyday pans are quick and easy to grab. Then after I use them and wash them I just hang them back up.I thought I would use about 12 hooks at the most but I liked it so well I ended up using all the hooks to hold up a lot of things. in fact, the setup is working so well, I have ordered a second set and bought a second shelve from BJs. I plan to use it to hold Pantry items and will use the hooks to hold Metal Storage Baskets on the sides for various things like wrap, storage bags, trash bags, snacks, cutting boards and various utensils.My son who put the shelve together for me was very impressed when he saw what I did with the hooks.

These S hooks are very sturdy and practical. The larger opening at one end allows them to be used in a variety of ways. The finish is not dull or cheap looking. I’m hanging these on the side of commercial chrome shelving to create additional hanging usage. They could be also used to hang pots and pans, aprons, other things corded OR outside on a tree limb for bird feeders or hanging flower baskets. I chose the larger S opening to allow for versatility. At 24 a package it’s quite a deal as well! Because they are singular, you can space them according to your needed width. I would repurchase again!! Why buy one or two at Home Depot when you will have enough to use countless other ways!!

I use this product in the kitchen and bathroom etc to hang everything from dish towels to dog leashes to a hair dryer. Works well on metal shelving. The size is perfect. It matches what I already have except the thickness — it is thinner than my other hanger hooks and this I was not expecting this. Over all it is very sturdy but maybe not industrial strength? It could hold a full purse, maybe not an anvil. I very much like the price. I read a ton of reviews before I chose this one. I wish they were thicker to match my other ones but these are much more affordably priced. (See the last photo for width comparison).

Well finished. I like the chamfer at the ends. I can hang anything - my shelf is in the kitchen and holds cookware, utensils and I hang a dish towel from it. But cords and keys and many other things too. Best accessory I can think of for wire shelving. Seem strong enough. I bought one set and almost immediately bought a second as there turned out to be so many uses for them.
