Love the Stokke
Love the quality of the stokke, but not too stoked with the cardboard box and the printed manual/warranty papers that came with it. The stroller came from the fulfillment center, from a retailer? called Lullaby Lane, and the cardboard box looked pretty beat up. So, needless to I was hesitant.Yet, after using it for a few times, we were very much enamored.Pro- Its design - we can finally eat and be of similar height with the baby at the table. Our baby no longer has to struggle in the baby chair provided by the restaurants- Very light to push - the wheels and the handle work seamlessly in strolling around with the Stokke. Yes, it might take a while to get used to, but it's not nearly as noisy as our other grace stroller.- baby enjoys being able to see us in a closer proximity- Maneuvers corners extremely well - we actually would just whirl her in circles without having any impedimentCons- It does require a sizable trunk space - and perhaps a hand or two, assembly is not its strong suit and would need someone with more muscles *ahem- dads*- The umbrella is not as necessary, but, don't want to speak too soon before using it, maybe on a rainy day?- the cost is atrocious, I agree. But, considering its resale value and future use for the second or third child, it seems like a good investment?Weighing the pros and cons, we made our decision and are fairly happy with the purchase. But, you never know if it might break down in the future, and guess that's what the 3 year warranty is there for? Will update if anything of that sort happens.
