Sticks like crazy!
Bought this for our grandson to drag the pond. I unpacked it (had to try it out, right?) Well I stuck it to a cast iron fry pan that was sitting nearby. I thought I'd never get it off! Very strong, use with caution unless you can slide it off of a smooth surface!

Good quality
This was a gift for my husband who wants to get into this whole magnet fishing thing. I don't know why, I guess he got pulled in by some YouTube videos. Anyway, he was very excited to receive this and it seems to be very nice quality although I'm no magnet fishing expert 😉

Plan ahead
The rope that comes with the magnetic is highly likely to break if you hit something that weights 300lbs. Make sure you plan well. It’s very hard to put the magnet off a flat steal surface

Great value and strong enough for us.
Works great! I was worried about the thinness of the line, but no problems. Had trouble getting it to release from a guardrail once, but otherwise it’s great.

Magnet is good, rope is bad
I bought a heavier duty rope from the hardware store for my magnet fishing. The magnet is about the size of a doorknob. In hindsight, I should have gotten a bigger magnet.

So fun to do! Gets stuck on heavy metal sometimes and hard to get off but it's the point of the product so it works well! We love it!

Weak magnent, very cheap "rope"
Don't buy this if you're serious about magnet fishing. It's VERY weak (no way it's even 75lbs) and the "rope" is basically twine. You get what you pay for. I'd return it if the shipping wasn't so much. My kids have fun with it, though.
