First class holesaw
Bought to cut an 80mm hole in a kitchen worktop. Really good quality, as you would expect from Makita. You need the centre arbor as well, but once youv'e bought that it fits all Makita holesaws. Fittting the holesaw for the first time is a little complex. First screw the holesaw onto the arbor just nearly tight. Then screw down the top with the two pins. These should locate into two of the four small holes near the centre of the holesaw. The tighten the holesaw fully tight. Then tighten the locking screw fully. And you are good to go! I wanted to cut a hole in 40mm kitchen worktop. I hit a snag in that the maximum cutting depth of the holesaw is 37mm. Oops! I could have reversed the holsaw and cut from the other side and it would have worked, but my hole was in an exisiting worktop already in place, so I resorted to other means. One word of warning. This is a big holesaw and takes a fair amount of torque to cut into chipboard. Use a decent powered drill and attach a handle. Cut with care or you could injure yourself.

Not deep enough to cut kitchen worktop easily
Works, but is a couple of mm too shallow to be able to cleanly cut through a 40mm kitchen worktop - which is the only thing I need this for. Managed to get through it in the end but could have been much easier with a deeper version. If you need to do this look for something else!
