Transformer USB Flash Memory Drive 4GB

My Transformers Ravage USB drive got here today, and I love it. It's sturdy and well-made, with lots of detail and tight joints. It looks a lot like Ravage from the old Transformers cartoon, though it is a little wider than I thought it would be. It has a black body, white legs, red eyes, and a light blue Decepticon symbol on it's back. It is held together with Phillips screws. The USB connection works fine, and is retractable (via a switch on the bottom of Ravage's body)for safety while being moved. I bought the 4GB version, and it does hold the full 4GB. Extra details: The mouth opens and closes, and it CAN be attached to a computer with a USB extension cord even when it is in robot mode.

How cool is this? A transformer flash drive! My son loved it and ran off to show it to another friend as soon as he 'transformed' it -- and he's 24! It was a gift for him, so hopefully it will function as awesome as it will look sitting on his desk.

It is kinda big and bulky. Works well and very similar to the toys from the 80s. Only complaint is size and how fragile it may be if not careful with the moving part. Very cool though!

Well, for starters I was a little disappointed that amazon.com said that I would have to wait almost 4 weeks for my package to arrive (it was being shipped from china) but I guess the joke was on me when it came in the mail after only 10 days, it's a simple slide out flash drive with a unique fun transforming capability, I'm always running out of space for music and videos so it was totally worth the price considering the size.

Yeah, you hid the truth in the fine text, so the consumer can share some of the blame in this mix up. But come on... if you were REALLY being honest, you'd use a picture of the ACTUAL product in your item description. I could have bought some groceries with that $11, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I felt a little cheated here. I fell victim to a similar trick on eBay, and it's pretty sad that sellers would stoop so low. Add to that, the d*** thing isn't even that sturdy. NONE of the parts lock into place at all, especially the USB connector, making it very flimsy, not to mention my PC doesn't even recognize the hardware, if you can call it that, when you plug it in. I was going to give you some credit for at least making a KO USB Ravage that doubled as a 4GB stick, but it seems you f****** that up too. Folks, DON'T BUY THIS THING. Learn from my mistake.

I knew this was a fake Transformers before I ordered, but I thought it was cool looking and the price was right. And it would be a cool thumb drive to have. Well.. it's a cool toy, but it doesn't work properly as a thumb drive. First, I couldn't eject the USB interface using the slide button. I had to use a knife to pop it out. Once I got the interface out, I inserted it into the USB port of my laptop. The fit was so sloppy that the laptop didn't even recognize the thumb drive at first. I wiggled it around and eventually it showed up. I pulled the drive back out and slid the interface back into the leopard's body and it got stuck again. Not worth returning. I'm just going to set it on my desk as a conversation piece.

The Transformer USB Flash Memory Drive 4GB in the shape of the beloved Ravage is a brilliant idea. The device functions well, but it's bulky, so beware if you have little room around your USB ports or if you plan to keep it in your pocket. There's a slider to extend the USB adapter out, but you have to hold it sometimes when inserting it into your pc's USB port as it tends to retract. The slider locker does work, but I've found I had to hold the slider more often than not. It's about 3x bigger than I expected (not quite 1.5" x 3"), but it does transform easily & looks great on the desk at work. The mouth even opens & the blue decepticon logo is prominently displayed. It came with a ~2.5" x ~3.5" case as the USB adapter has no cover. As shown in the pictures, the USB adapter is on the outside of the unit (as it typical). I'm not sure if the case always comes with it, but the seller "My Cute Shop" included it. I definitely recommend this fun functional tool for any transformer enthusiast.

I just love it! It can transform easily and is super cool to show off. It also has alot of storage room for such a small item. It works on my computer but if you have an older model or something that isn't updated, I couldn't use it at all.
