ZEP Commercial Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, 32 Ounce (3, 32.0 Fl Oz), 3 Pack

I could have posted before and after pictures but then I’d have to change my name and move! Let’s just say I should have done this ten years ago! Our water is hard and calcium left the entire bowl below the water line a brownish yellow. This stuff loosened up all the deposits to the extent that I was able to scrub them completely away with just a stiff brush! Other products such as CLR never helped at all. It also is one or two applications away from opening up the below waterline jet which has been limed over for years. This stuff saved me from needing a new toilet!

Okay. My toilets have been through some ‘stuff’ 🙂. Since we purchased the home, I have tried SO many cleaners to cut through the discoloration on the toilet. Nothing worked!! If I didn’t have the old-school vent-away toilets, I would have replaced them upon moving in. But those toilets aren’t cheap! I bought this product and after one use...WOW! My toilets look brand new! Highly recommend!!!!

Wow in my first application this product got rid of some stubborn lime/rust stains that have been resistant for over a year to the typical toilet bowl cleaners available at your grocery store. The smell is mild and not caustic like some of the professional stuff I use to use as a part time janitor. I will never go back to the nationally advertised brands.

We have a high-quality vintage toilet in one of our bathrooms that developed horrible stains from hard water, lack of use, and neglect. When I realized it, I tried every toilet bowl product and cleaner I could find and scrubbed my heart out to no avail. Came upon this product On Amazon one day and ordered it as my last effort before replacing the fixture. Used it two times and removed 50% of the buildup. On the third try, I shut the water off, flushed, and removed as much of the water as I could from the bowl to concentrate the cleaner on the stain, then added the product and followed the directions for time. This time it cleaned off everything else, leaving it as clean as a new bowl! Heavy rubber gloves (the kind that withstand acid) and those green Scotch scrubbies are part of the process, but not too much elbow grease. It’s strong stuff, not for weekly bowl cleaning, and smells much better than I expected. I wish every product lived up to its promises as well as this does.

This product seems just average to me. I have a waterline in one of my toilets and was hoping this would take care of it. I don’t want to use a pumice stone because I’m afraid it will scratch the porcelain. Disappointing.

I use this product which works amazingly well. I use a variety of Zep products. I would not consider using anything else. I take pictures of the products so when someone asks me about what I use I can send a picture to help them find it in a store or online. Everyone one I have recommended to has thanked me for the "heads up". I first saw a Zep product on morning TV. The guest was cleaning outdoor furniture. The Host said I always use Zep products. That was enough for me. These products never disappoint.

This product finally removed the brown rust deposit at the bottom of the toilet bowl. After only one time of use per the instructions, except I waited for 30-minutes to let it sit, the brown rust deposit was removed. I was prepared to shut off the valve and empty the water out of the toilet bowl, use ZEP again, and let it sit for 30-minutes. I did not have to do it, the rust was all gone when used the first time.I have tried a pumice stone, got some rust deposits off, just could not get it into the corners at the bottom of the bowl, it was really hard work.I will always bye this product from now on. The smell is pleasant and familiar, just can't remember what item smelled like this. The Zep came one-week earlier than scheduled. Thank You!
