Saddleback Leather iPad Mini Case in Chestnut

Nice leather case but the leather comes to far over/close to the screen. Its so close that it doesn't allow for easy page navigation when going back or going to a new page. The corners of the screen are blocked because of how close the leather is.

This case is a very heavy-duty leather case. Leather is as thick as boot leather and smells great. The case is very stiff when you first open it and I wasn't sure it would work out but I think I fixed that. I applied a high quality leather conditioner the first night and it was much softer and more pliable the next day. Hand strap makes it easy to hold one-handed. Best leather ipad mini cover I've ever seen and especially if you like a western feel to your leather goods.

Leather is beautiful, however, covers too much of actual screen. For example, when trying to select emails to delete, you can select the email, but when you attempt to find/see the "trash" button, it is covered by the leather piece covering screen. I'd attach a screenshot to show if I could, as I'm sure my feedback is confusing to read. Bottom line is the leather quality is great, the actual leather that covers the iPad screen is too big. After reading other reviews on multiple sites, looks like this is a common theme. As much as I want to love the case, I'm sending it back because I cannot use my iPad mini.

Excellent products, great customer service!! Never disappointed..this was a gift for our son. His first Saddleback piece and now he's hooked..many more to come!
