Great bang for the buck!!
They are no long tubes, but if you are looking for a cheap bolt on, that fits, looks good and sounds good, then these are it. I did not use the manifold bolts or the gaskets that came with it. I used ARP bolts and GM gaskets. I did have to use the supplied hardware to bolt the Y-Pipe up to the manifolds. On certain years the plug wire boots will contact the manifold. So you will need to wrap the headers or get some heat sleeves for the wires to prevent them from melting. You can see what I did in the picture. I had a few pieces of extra wrap from a few other projects. I did a DOD delete at the same time so I had the ECM tuned for shorty headers. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but the truck runs and sounds great.

2012 Chevy silverado 5.3
These are a direct fit. I have a thumper tsp cam and wanted to keep it street legal and didn't want to mess with longtube. The fit and finish is great. They look good and matched with my Borla XR1 oval, it gave my truck a nice low rumble. The grade of blot you get is good (metric equivalent to a grade 8) but on the manifold they are a solid 1/4 shorter than factory. The y-pipe hardware is spot on. A couple of installation tips, 1. Loosen your y-pipe at the tail pipe connector and leave it all loose throughout the installation. Makes it a lot easier to install the passenger side. 2. Order metal manifold gaskets. It comes with the metal and paper kind. 3. Passanger side collecter, you may have to flip the bolt and nut to fit. The cat is in the way. Tool list is a 15mm deep, 16mm deep. A 15 & 16mm wrench. A 13 mm shallow & deep (manifold side) wratchet some extensions. Simple job that should only take a couple of hours.

Great exhaust headers for the money!
Great exhaust headers for the money and they look great too. Only issue with them is two of the spark plug wires touch the headers, unavoidable with their design, so had to get special wire sleeves to keep them from melting. Keep that in mind when buying these.

Looks good quality but they aren't. Don't be fooled
Box came in basically destroyed with one of the manifolds hanging half way out of the box, the manifold that was exposed is scratched.. and the gaskets have 4 or 5 heavy creases. Basically unuseable because when I bent back to straight the center fell out. So yeah don't but these cheapass manifolds. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Manifold sealing surface leaking due to poor machining
Very rough sealing surface on the manifold. Had to have a machine shop clean up the surface. Header leaked right after start up. Used supplied gaskets and ARP header bolts all torque to spec.

Great for the value
I installed on my 03 Silverado 5.3L and the sound is a lot deeper, everything matched up perfectly and bolted up nicely! Well worth the money, great headers for the money, they are a little heavy but over all no complaints they give you everything you will need!!

Perfect fit, not very throaty
Fit perfect, seem to be well made, only time will tell.Did not change the sound or performance since I already had after market exhaust and cai on my 2013 Silverado

Exhausting
They have holes that you put bolts through that go to the head on the car.
