Raina Telgemeier’s #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning companion to Smile ! Raina can't wait to be a big sister. But once Amara is born, things aren't quite how she expected them to be. Amara is cute, but she's also a cranky, grouchy baby, and mostly prefers to play by herself. Their relationship doesn't improve much over the years, but when a baby brother enters the picture and later, something doesn't seem right between their parents, they realize they must figure out how to get along. They are sisters, after all.Raina uses her signature humor and charm in both present-day narrative and perfectly placed flashbacks to tell the story of her relationship with her sister, which unfolds during the course of a road trip from their home in San Francisco to a family reunion in Colorado. Review: Perfect for kids - My daughter is obsessed with graphic novels, so I bought this to help complete her collection from this author. She’s obsessed and they come in such a good quality and arrived as expected. Review: Quality and price!! - Nice book

Good, but downloading is a problem.
I loved this book! It was funny, emotional, and pretty ok! But downloading it was a problem. Once i downloaded it, my tablet totally glitched out. It lagged a bunch before shutting down.. Once i went in, it wouldn't show me any pages. Only a white screen. So, i left and went to Home page on my tablet, and the book wasnt there. After a couple of tries, i got it working. Later, i got it on my computer with no glitches or delays. Now, back to the book, i really recommend it for ages 9-13! :) as a 10 year old, this book was super entertaining and fun to read! It really got emotional, and it was funny how the sisters often fought, but also sometimes got along. And i ❤ the flashbacks!! They were my fav parts :D Buy this book! But maybe make sure not to rush the downloading if ur on a ipad or tablet. Anyway, yeah! That was my review!

Great Story!
Synopsis- Raina and her family are going to Colorado for a family reunion. She, her sister, brother, and mom are going by car, and their dad will fly in later. Along the way, a lot of things go wrong for Raina and her family. Raina and her sister never get along, even though Raina wanted a sister for years. The arguing made the car trip even longer. After pretty much everything goes wrong, especially her parents hinting that they don't get along anymore, Raina starts to wonder if anything will get better. What I liked- This is a really cool graphic novel. It's pretty interesting how, along with the story-line, there are also "flashbacks" that Raina has. That was fun. Raina (the character, reflects Ms. Telgemeier, because another one of Ms. Telgemeier's books, Smile (also a great book) and Sisters are memoirs) is an average 14-year-old, with an average, slightly angry younger sister. They have a normal, argumentative, at times humorous, relationship. It was a nice touch that Raina and her sister were kind of brought together by the fact that their parents might get divorced, and that they were scared of what would happen. The story is full of humor, and seems very realistically done. It is a nice story, and the illustrations are top-notch. I hope that there will be another book!
