(35 lbs) World's Lightest Folding Electric Mobility Scooter for Adults

My other Scooter is a little over a 100 lbs . And I had a lift in the back of my truck. But I sold that truck and had the lift installed in the back of my sister's truck. So she had to take me when I needed the cart. Dr appointment , amusement park , anywhere that required some walking over 30 feet or so. I bought a new 2019 Chevy Cruze and decided that I wanted to be a little more independent. And this TravelScoot has done that for me. I carry it in my car alway's in case I need it. I can unload it and assemble it in a few minute's. I can take the lightweight battery out and charge it every week or after I use it. It's so lightweight I can just push it around if I am in a tight area. It does not have a key to turn it off and on but you get a cable lock in case you want to lock it up. I bought a cup holder and a cup and a front basket but I have not installed them yet. I have been so busy. Overall I rate this the best there is, that's why I have it. I would be glad to answer any of you're question's as I have on a lot of other product's that I have bought from Amazon. I have stage 4 COPD so I have a little knowledge and experience .

Heavier than advertised. Not modular, it has to be broken down in to many pieces at the very best to put into any car or small SUV. Return policy is horrid, We pay for shipping and a restocking fee. Made in China. if you want a poorer product, buy a pair of roller skates.

I have a VW Beetle Convertible. While the Travelscoot does not fit quite as perfect in my car as it does in the Porsche Boxster video on youtube it still easily fits in the trunk with one of the rear seats folded down. I did remove the VW windscreen holder for easy storing and retrieval of the Travelscoot. It is possible storing and retrieval will work with the windscreen in the trunk but it is very easy without it. This does not impact the car at all but if you have a Beetle convertible you probably know what I am talking about. I never expected to need a scooter but a recent injury required it. I researched many options and the Travelscoot is perfect for so many reasons. It is so stable and comfortable and solves my mobility problems. I really appreciate how attentive Travelscoot USA has been as well. Their prompt delivery and perfect condition of equipment has made the experience a good one. I am not sure how most people purchase scooters, mine was in a rush with just a few days of research available. I am so happy I picked Travelscoot. I am a frequent flier and portability for air travel was important to me.EDIT: 1 month later, I have been in over a dozen airports and multiple rental cars and taxis. Still going strong and United airlines is great about gate checking the TravelScoot when I board. They sometimes cannot figure out if I need a pink tag for items like strollers, or a blue tag for wheel chairs, or a special blue tag for wheel chairs with batteries. I let the gate agent figure it out. They are always trying to accommodate me though. None of the porters who stow luggage complain about the size or weight. One more bonus feature for me, I forgot the front wheel is removable. WIth the front wheel removed it fits perfectly in the trunk of my car without extending into the back seat area. I can even leave the windscreen protector fully installed.

Have used on many trips. Love the weight. Portability is great. Battery life has been surprisingly long.Only issue i have is the comfort of the seat. I wish it was not a bicycle style seat - after long usage it is NOT comfortable .....the back hits me right in the kidney area and no adjustment available.REVISED after 1 year useI reduced star rating because1. The seat is very uncommon and the back seat rest has no adjustment. Which translates into one size fits all ....but as we all know we are different heights and the seats may be perfect for some hit not all2. I have been pitched off twice. Once when i forgot to take break off - hit accelerator and it made back jump to side and pitch meSecond time was when i was stopped talking to friends and didn’t notice the front wheel wasn’t straight. When i got ready to GO - again i got pitched.The other incident- you must be very careful when going over sidewalk seams if they are deep - they can also cause issues if not gone at perfectly straight.This is perfect for smooth riding areasThe weight is perfect and lightI just wish it had 2 wheels in front for better stability

I really like how easy it is to put together and fold-up. It fits in my CRV easily and does not take up all the room in the back. The only thing I don't like is how hard the seat is. After about an hour of riding at the street fair my back was aching. I did purchase a gel seat that helps, but it is floppy.
