Excellent design and performance
I've had neck pain for several weeks so I ordered this device and a couple of other kinds of devices. I thought I'd see which one worked the best and I'd return the other two. I decided to keep them all because there isn't just one kind of massage that is best. In fact, a combination of different kinds of massage works best. So, isn't that expensive to buy more than one device? Heck yeah. But how much do you like neck pain? The other kind of massager I got was the $50 one with rotating, kneading balls. It works great and is worth the money, but it alone won't do the trick. This massager is good for a number of reasons. 1. Vibrating massage is an important addition to kneading massage. 2. Though I've had vibrating massagers that are more powerful, I've also had ones that were weaker. This one is strong enough. Years ago, I bought and returned a vibrating massager because it wasn't strong enough so I was fully prepared to do that again. But no, this is strong enough. 3. The rollers make this device feel much, much better. 4. The curving shape and the weight are good for reaching places that need attention. This device turned out to be one heck of a lot better than I was hoping for. I highly recommend it.

Great, inexpensive product!
After doing some research on massagers and reading the reviews for this product, I took a leap of faith and bought the Panosonic Easy Reach. I figured even if it totally sucked at relieving the horrid knots in my upper back muscles, it appeared that the product could at least be used as a weapon against a potential home invasion or a pack of rabid dogs. This thing looked menacing! Thankfully, this massager works really well on sore muscles, and I'm really happy I bought it. It's a great value for the money, and has helped ease a lot of aches. For the price, it's very powerful and gets the job done. It should be noted, however, that due to it's light weight construction, it probably isn't going to be your go-to choice in the event of an onslaught of zombies...

Ahhhh, sweet heaven!
I have been having frequent back problems lately because of my sacroiliac joint, causing sharp pain in the lower left part of my back (right above my rear). My husband has been giving me deep tissue massages (ouch!) after hot baths to try to loosen the knot. Once its loose there was no way to keep it that way without frequent massages and sometimes I didn't want to have to wait until he was free. So, I did some research online for a back massager, and found this one to be fairly cheap with good reviews. I ordered it and put a rush on the shipping. It arrived today and I put it thru a trial run. The massager is a little over a foot long and the handle is just the right diameter and angle to make it easy to hold. Once it is plugged in (no battery power option) and turned on you can choose from the two settings. Even on low this thing has some major vibration (and it is fairly noisy, so using it in the same room with someone trying to sleep or watch tv might not be an option). It DOES work great in almost every position! It is easy to hold and maneuver around your own shoulders and neck, and down the back. Holding it across the lower back may be awkward if you are trying to use a non-dominate hand, but it can be done. I tried it out on myself, finding it works great in every position BUT the one I really need for my lower back. It does great for a general "vibrating" massage, but that area needs a bit more pressure. I was excited to try it out on my husband (who rolled his eyes at my new gadget) and made him lie down. After less than 5 minutes of gently rolling it across his back and he was so relaxed he fell asleep [we're talking drooling-sweet bliss]. So, needless to say he approves of my new helper! This will be a great help to keep the pain of my back at bay, but I may still need the assistance of an occasional deep tissue massage as well.

This is one great massager!
I've been blessed with PA (psoriatic arthritis) which attacks not only joints, but surrounding muscles and tendons. It will play havoc with my lower back muscles for 3-4 months and then my upper back and shoulder muscles. Without help, I am unable to massage these muscles by myself. Enter the Panny EV2510K. Perfect for any spot that hurts you just about anywhere on your body. I've only had the unit for a few hours and I have managed to relax my terres minor muscle in my right shoulder, something that I was unable to do by myself before. Besides the Panny's reach versitility, it is one strong vibrator. This is no wimpy unit. It will rattle your teeth on high. But what good is a massager with low power? You can modulate the vibration strength with the low setting and with applied pressure. It's got all you'll ever need. Also, the head (part that vibrates) is isolated by a flex-joint so as to not vibrate the hand that holds it. Good engineering. Fit, finish and construction is excellent. Beside the rollers (you'll like them!), there is a hard protrusion that can also be used in certain areas and a green pad with 1/4" high bumps for other areas. Haven't found a use for these yet, but I'm sure that I will. I just tried this thing on the bottom of my feet and it scored a 10. Wow! I'm really a cynic about products, so when I am compelled to write about this product within hours of receiving it, be assured that I like it. I would be happy if this Panny sold for $59, but it is a steal (and a GOOD gift idea, too) at Amazon's price with free shipping. Click 'buy', you won't be sorry. Promise!

SMART EFFECTIVE DESIGN & REACH,...GREAT RELIEF,...but Questionable Quality Control
This massage design delivered great relief & wanted to rate it 5-stars. UNFORTUNATELY,....developed an annoying squeal inside the motor housing in the first couple days. Had to return. Specifically bot a Panasonic brand for high quality,...but not the case with this one. Other than that defect, the design was excellent. I only ran it on the Low speed that was just fine on my pelt,...Didn't need the hi speed setting or a variable speed that some reviewers creatively rigged up for their vibrator. But a variable speed dial in the handle would be a great feature for everyone. The two green wheels & triangular knob seemed strange....at first. But they work very well & transmit the vibration in different ways for different applications. Rolling that vibration down the legs and across the backs is just great. The long, curved handle reaches areas all over my back with no problem. The triangular knob really comes into play when doing around your heel. There is also a 4th curved surface you can't see in the picture,... on the back of the curved vibrating head. This surface is designed for softer areas like the side & arch of your foot,...and works very well. It reduces the intensity. broadens the vibration zone & curved shape that fits like a glove into curves on the bottom of the foot. A warning in the instructions says Do Not leave the massager plugged in after use. What's that about? Is it going to catch on fire or something? Seemed a bit strange. BOTTOM LINE: Even though my unit was defective & returned, I did not want to 1-Star it. The Pana EV2510K is a smart, effective design delivering GREAT results! But quality control is a question. I may wait a while until a new shipment arrives to try it again. EARNS 3-STARS. If working like it should, definitely 5-stars.

Instant pain relief
After reading several reviews, I purchased this massager and the Frankies Deep Tissue Hammer Massager. Back pain has become a constant annoyance in our household and has been detracting from the quality of life. Taking medication doesn't really solve the problem and exercise has just been increasing the pain. These hand held massagers are the next best thing to having a professional masseuse around when you need one. I like the Frankies Massager for man-sized jobs. The Panasonic, however, is a much better tool for my smaller, softer body. It works well on shoulder/neck pain and has done wonders for my aching elbow. I like to use it on my lower back and feet also. The overall design is lighter weight than the Frankies and easier to use with my smaller hand-size. The overall construction is good and of the kind of quality I would hope to find with the Panasonic name. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this massager.

This is a nice product
For the price it really does have deep yet gentle penetrating power. It has the right frequency vibration to relax tense, even cramped spasm muscles to take you out of pain. It has two speeds, and the device is very light in weight. The curve of the machine makes it easy to reach the back muscles. I have very powerful massages and I still use this one more than the others. The vibes are comfortable, penetrating and gentle, yet gets the job done. It is quiet too, with some odd internal rattles once in awhile, but that is the only complaint. The two wheels roll and the green tab actually grabs back muscles for breaking up those tight cramps. Very nice product. Give it a try.

Noisy but gives a good massage
I would give the massager a five star rating if it weren't so noisy. I ordered this massager because my mother-in-law had an older model. Hers was quiet and could even be used cordless which I really liked. The massager gives a good deep massage but, it sqeaks and vibrates loudly at times. This version of the EV2510K can not be used cordless as the older model can. The cord is very long so you can plug in and move away from the outlet where you are more comfortable for your massage. It has two settings. One is supposed to be gentle and the other strong. It is actually strong and stronger! If you are looking for a gentle massage then you should skip this unit. But, I like the deep massage this massager provides. There are two rolling heads where the older model had only one wider roller. The rollers have bumps all around that add to your massage. This is an improvement as it enables you to roll down either side of the spine without hitting bone. I am 5 ft. 7 and average build--not sure if this would be the same for a large man?? There is a nub or elbow just behind the rollers. This is a fantastic feature. It seems to hit all the right nooks and crannies in your shoulder and back and it feels great! This is is a great combo with the rollers. What they refer to as the elbow angled design is terrific as it allows more flexibility to reach those hard to get to spots. It bends around so it isn't stiff and unmovable. I would highly recommend this massager for people with restless leg or back and neck pain. If you can deal with the squeaks and don't mind that you don't get a gentle massage this massager is for you.

The Green Rollers Are Stiff/Tight - Will Not Roll Anymore
I bought this item as a gift last year for the wifey. One of the green rollers was a bit stiff and had a hard time rolling (out of the box). Instead of going through the hassle of requesting warranty service and then shipping it, I tried adjusting the screw to make it roll easier. The massager has not been used in months, but now both of the rollers are very stiff and will not roll. The unit is very solid overall, except that the rollers do not roll properly. I will take it apart and try to fix it myself, since it is out of warranty now. I expected better from Panasonic. Update: I unscrewed the green rollers with a philips screwdriver and removed them. I found that there is nothing complicated inside, but plastic rubbing against plastic, without any lubrication. I spread a bit of Vaseline on each shaft, then put the green rollers back on. It works great now! Try this if the rollers are stiff instead of throwing the massager away.
