I see no reason for you not to get a refund if you were not satisfied with your order. I've never had any problem filing a complaint with Amazon and receiving a full refund.

Is this clip 2” wide as the header states, or only 1.6” as the picture shows?

It doesn't look like the picture and there's no return. It's less than 1-inch wide but 2-inches long (the black portion). Who in the world needs a 2-inch long binder clip for documents? Maybe, to close a bag of snacks after the world depletes its supply of twist ties.

I would say about 2 inches, they are very tight, you have to have a good grip to open them up!
