A Excellent Inspirational Bead Pattern Tool and Here’s Why
I have been heading since 1969. I love this book and here is why.Firstly, I am a loom beader. This is a book of loom patterns. Yes, there are repeat patterns in different colors, but as any experienced bearer knows, sometimes one particular change of color can inspire a different pattern of your own to be created. The different colors give one a perspective of what can be done . I have been able to totally come up with a different look with the same pattern but by using, say, neon beads or lusters, than opaques or the colors called for.Not only that, but bits can be taken from one pattern and joined with others to create something completely new and exciting.I didn’t find the patterns antiquated or simplistic as one beader reviewed. I sell at concerts and on line and find that a lot of these patterns are exactly what people are looking for, especially the hippie/bohemian crowd.I am very pleased and intend on using this as an inspiration tool for years to come.

Well done!
Lovely picture book, filled with the kind of pretty things that make your spirit sing when you see them. The author creates one design, then shows it also made up in various other colors and. It is amazing how different two bracelets can look simply by changing the colors. Extremely well done, although 500 is a wee bit of a stretch. It is more like 125 - 150 designs, each done about 4 different colored. Still, it is a remarkable resource and helps open up the "I wonder how this would look if I used ivory and lavender instead of her colors?". We need that kind of willingness to explore color. It is an excellent book and a worthy addition to any crafter's bookshelf. Colors, after all, can set gone and mood for bracelets and living room rugs and kitchen cabinets/backsplash. These example help train that sense of color.

Nice Collection of Patterns
This book contains a nice collection/variety of patterns. I love that the author sets out the number of beads used both in length & width. I have been able to adapt this to my preferred length, and it will be easy to change the colors if desired. The first pattern I've actually made so far is No. 394 (pink flamingos) & I found some errors in the 2nd vertical row from the right. That has made me cautious with the rest of the bracelet, and I will be careful with the other patterns I use as well. If not for that, I'd probably give this 5 stars. This is definitely not a book that teaches how to loom; it is what it says - patterns.

No word pattern
There are no word directions. So you have to figure out the pattern by looking at the picture and counting each bead for 80 rows.

Not really 500 different patterns
I did not actually count the number of truly different patterns in this book, maybe 1/4 that number. Many, many are just different color variations on a basic pattern. The patterns themselves are not very exciting but they do list the bead numbers, and have acceptable graphic outlines that should work but better if enlarged. So a good reference just nothing spectacular in any way

Hundreds of Beautiful Patterns for My Weaving Obsession
I've enjoyed beading for more than 10 years and have recently discovered the joys of bead weaving on a loom. Projects work up fast and the process of weaving a lovely pattern is so satisfying. I'm excited to get this book. The beginning of the book has just a couple of pages on technique so if you are a newbie wanting to learn the process of weaving on a loom I suggest getting something that is more comprehensive. If you want a book with hundreds of beautiful designs from simple to more complicated, playful and cute to more sophisticated, get this pattern book. This one will keep me busy for a long time. I want to make them all.

Title is deceiving
I wish I didn't buy this. Most of the 500 patterns are repeated as many as 6 or 7 times with different colors. The description led me to believe there were 500 unique patterns.

Repetitive
It would have been worth the money if the designs were printed larger. You could still show a section done in other colors to show the versatility of the work. I'm old and don't see well and I don't know how to enlarge things on the printer so it's either squint along making a lot of errors or color in an enlargement myself on graph paper. Poop.

4 colourways is not the same as 4 different patterns. Repetitive & Mediocre
Loads of patterns but they're all the same! Showing a pattern in 4 (or more) colourways is not the same as 4 different patterns! 4 out of 5 patterns in this book are colour varations on the same pattern. Patterns are basic and some appear to be converted from cross stitch. A few patterns however ARE really beautiful and can't wait to try but most of it is basic and mediocre. If I had seen this in an actual shop and flicked through the pages I'd have put it back especially for this price

Aridàteme i soldi

Pattern overload!!! You will love this!
Every bead loom beader must buy this book seriously. Before I bought it i noticed some people complained that some patterns are repeated but in different colours but got it anyway. When I saw all the patterns and some of the repeats... I really loved seeing the different renditions of the same pattern on one page because it helped me visualize how different it would look if I changed colours. Even with the repeat renditions this book has a ridiculous amount of patterns and there is no reason to complain... there are more patterns than you will ever have time for trust me. I cannot wait to pick a pattern... that was the hardest part of all lol. The book arrived quickly and I am happy! I hope Amazon gets more books like this!
