Derma Wand Anti-Aging System - Portable Handheld Skincare Therapy Machine- Argon/Neon

I bought this from Amazon years ago after watching several infomercials for the device. I had a suspicion that claims about the device were bogus and I was just another sucker who was parted from their money. Imagine my surprise when I actually saw results!I see the biggest difference in the drooping skin under my eyebrows. As we get older, everything starts to sag--no matter how good our skincare routine is. After treating one eye, the puffy hood of skin above the eyelid is noticeably tightened and the eyebrow is higher/more lifted than the untreated eye. The effect remains for several hours. Cheekbones appear somewhat more defined, and the drooping at the corners of the mouth is a bit improved as well. I also see results around the jawline, but the main problem with my full jowls is caused by being too heavy. There's only just so much improvement you'll get in that area when you're overweight. However, I'll take any improvement I can get.I don't use the serum that came with this set. I use a lot more pressure than is shown in the tutorial, so I slather on a heavier emollient cream to allow the device to easily glide across the skin. I also use the device at its highest setting around the eyes (setting "9" rather than the recommended setting "1") and I think this gives me more dramatic results.Here are some disclaimers for those of you expecting miracles:Nothing is going to miraculously improve the look of your skin if you don't consistently take care of it. I get so tired of people writing negative reviews about devices or makeup after trying it one time and being disappointed that they don't look 20 years younger immediately or that makeup looks dry or crepey on their skin. You can often tell by their comments that they don't religiously care for their skin. I will be 57 this month, but I look like I'm in my early 40's (some say mid- to late-30s) because I have found truly effective skin care lines (Skinn Cosmetics and Baetea serums) and I follow an intense skin care routine--twice a day, every day. (If your skin has a tough, weathered or aged layer or is parched and dry, slathering on ANY makeup product won't hide this.)Using this device, I don't see a lot of difference in skin texture, but I do see a notable difference in the firmness of the skin--less sagging. The more you use the device, the better the results--the results aren't permanent. When I forget about using it, sagging and puffiness return. Nice looking skin takes commitment.For me, this device helps fight the sagging and puffiness that naturally occurs as skin ages in ways that good skincare cannot. Since I can't afford regular treatments from an esthetician and wouldn't dream of cosmetic surgery, I'm thrilled to get results with my sagging skin issues from the Dermawand.(I did not receive any discounts on this product or any compensation for this review. I have been getting facials over a year o try to improve my complextion. I tried everything on the market and didnt anything that really made a difference for very long. I have these little rocks that keep surfacing on my face. No matter how many facials I have had along with using only oil free products nothing gave me a clear smooth face.I noticed tha the lady who did my facial would roll this electrod ball on my face at the end of the facial. So I did some research online and found info about the Derma Wand. I got it on Amazon for $99 + no shipping which was cheaper than continuing to have facials done. On top of it 30 day free trial!!After the first time I used it, the next morning I could see a difference in my face. It was not lumpy looking anymore it was smoother and had a nice sheen to it. The "rocks" would surface quicker on my face with easy removal. I used it all over my face like the booklet says to do and after a week even my husband looked at me as we were waiting at the airport and said 'you face looks so nice and smooth". Just to add more I had deep creases between my eyes along with the jowl lines around my mouth that I just hated!!! Not kidding when I say they are barely there anymore. It may not work for everyone but it did for me which is a first. I have bought so many products over the years just to be let down and disappointed but this wand works for me.It is worth every penny to try this product especially with the 30 day free trial. I am sold on this product and will continue to use it everyday. By the way I am 53 and feel beautiful again because of the Derma Wand.

I've been using the Dermawand for little over a month now and I am pleased with the results.First off...the lifting...I think I was realistic in my expectations. I had read up on radio frequency and knew that even when the treatment were given by professionals that the initial results were only temporary and that permanent results didn't usually occur until the 3rd month and sometimes even longer and sometimes required extra treatments so I wasn't expecting some immediate miracle cure and suddenly look like I was in my 20's again upon my first few uses.In fact I didn't think I was seeing any lifting at all after the first month until I weighed...I had lost 7 pounds and there was no change in my face...and for me that is unusual. I purposely put on weight ( about 10 pounds in the last 7 years) after I reached my forties just so I would look younger in the face. I never take it off because my face sags so badly. The weight I lost was due to a busy schedule but after seeing that my face isn't sagging after the loss I don't feel the need to put it back on...very pleased with the results. Need to add that I use it twice a day for almost an hour on the face and the neck...highest setting except for right under the eyes which I go no higher with than a 4. Also want to add that it tightens the skin...not the muscles. I've heard that the Susan Sommers Facemaster helps for tightening muscles although I have not used it...just wanted to add it here for an option. Personally, I use facial exercises...a combination of Facial Yoga and Debra Crowley's FlexEffect...great for firming the face and with the Dermawand the skin around the muscles is tighter as well.Even if the lifting didn't work the dermawand is worth the price just for what it did for my skin...and this was an immediate result. A few years ago my skin lost it's youthful glow due to entering peri-menopause. For a while Oil of Olay carried a product (their foam) that gave me back that glow but they soon phased it out and it's replacement cream didn't give me the same results...the dermawand did. I used it for the first time the day before my husband and I went out for dinner and was shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw how good my skin looked...and yes it was just after one use and I wasn't expecting anything at that point...my youthful glow was back.I had looked at other similar products...some have extra wands and attachments...I prefer the simplicity of this one...just plug it in and start gliding it over your face. The one drawback was the price of the pre-face treatment(hence the 4 rather than the 5 because I really liked the stuff but the bottle isn't that big and it's $30)...I use 100% glycerin oil instead. It's actually one the main ingredients in their pre-face treatment anyway. I had been using pure aloe gel and it does work as well but my personal preference is the glycerin...it doesn't dry out as fast so I don't have to re-apply before I'm through. Dermawand is a great product at least for me. When I wear this one out I intend to buy another.
