Great magnifiers. Used for class project about hoe eyeballs work. Went great.

These worked relatively well for basic magnification in my science classroom, but my old hand lenses worked better. These were a bit difficult for the students to focus, but they did get the job done. They are easy to pass out, collect and store. These would be good for helping to read small text, sort of like reading glasses.

Have them everywhere. Small and convenient

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I work as a Commissioner in Charge at the election polls and people are often forgetting their reading glasses. We have one magnifying sheet and two machines at my polling place. So I thought I'd get these for my Commissioners and in case voters needed something to help see the ballot better. They work great, and fit right in your wallet like a credit card. Awesome purchase and would be a great stocking stuffer for all your friends at work since everybody needs some help with the fine print now and then! Good quality, great price.

I need glasses for reading, and the smaller the print, or the less the contrast between the background paper and the printed letters, the more I need glasses.I've put one of these magnifiers in my bedside stand, one in a kitchen drawer, one at my desk, one in my wallet, one in the car console -- basically anywhere that I'm going to want to be ale to "read the fine print".Kitchen - for reading the cooking instructions on the frozen pizza or the lasagna dish. So often, the color background interferes with seeing the instructions, and my glasses don't AMPLIFY the letters, so I can't see it clearly enough even with my glasses.This thing turns 4-point font to about 12 point, and without distortion.I also have started using them as bookmarks.I still have about 40 of them left over so I'll be giving some to friends at church who I know struggle with reading. Their size and sturdiness (not much different than a credit card on both scores) makes them easy to tuck into your pockets with a comb or wallet, so I even have one in my jeans pocket as I work around the house.
