Amazing
Need a quality pair of binoculars? These are some of the best I’ve ever used. The optics are outstanding. They Binos are heavy but easy to hold steady while using them. Lightweight binoculars are unsteady but these are rock solid. Learn to use them properly and they will give you a lifetime of enjoyment.Watching birds from a distance is easy with the 10X40 optics.

Just buy them
I got these as a Christmas present to myself and I am not just satisfied with them, I'm thrilled. The clarity of the image, the lack of any distortion, the solid feel in the hand, the performance in low light - they're just great. Yes, there is a tiny bit of image shaking compared to 8X42 if you're holding in your hands, but I only ever really notice it when I'm using them for astronomical viewing, and even then, it's not bad (and, if I really was bothered by it, I could just mount them on a tripod). Definitely doesn't get in the way during bird watching. My only tiny gripe is that the case is pretty snug - seems like I have to jam the strap in there whenever I put the binocs back. The case itself (and the strap) are high quality. I did a lot of research on the optics and to do any better, I would have had to spend at least 2-3X more, so just go buy them. These rock.

I bought this to replace a stolen pair of Endeavor ED 8x42 hoping they would be as good as the original and I can say they are indeed as good and better. They feel a bit heavier than the original but I don't find that a problem. I was surprised at the bright image they present, almost too bright until I figured out I had to back out the eyepiece rubber hoods a bit to get my eyes a little farther from the glass. They work well with eyeglasses or without.

Optics are solid, but build quality is not.
We've had these about a year. We've taken them a few places, but haven't treated them roughly. Mostly, they live on a window sill and are used for spotting waterfowl on the lake. The optics are fine, though not amazing, but we have had a failure of the diopter (That's the fine adjustment knob on one lens that allows you to correct for different vision in each eye). The adjustment ring just came completely off and we can't reattach it or the eyecup. Really disappointing. We've had Monarchs mostly for over a decade and had no problems like this. Very disappointing and wouldn't buy again.

Nice step up!
Moved on from a pair of Styrka S5 to the Endeavor. Great eye relief for use with glasses. Clear, bright and crisp image. Easy to focus and to track birds.

Clear Image
One of the best. Image as good as a binocular at twice the price

I don't understand the love for these - junk
I received these (10x42) and tested them between my Steiner 8x42, Nikon Monarch 8x42, and Vortex Viper HD 10x50. The image quality was worse than any of those other 3 binos, even though the Nikons especially are much lower priced. The thing that upset me the most about the Vanguard was that the focus knob was extremely sticky/jumpy, to the point where it was nearly impossible to fine focus when looking through the binos. In my experience, these are junk and are outperformed by much lower priced binos.
