not much hammer
it will, with time drill a 3/16 hole in concrete piling, but not much faster than a non hammer drill. I would not even attempt a bigger hole. It is water tight

Goof luck with this junk!
We have 2 drills, 1 quick release impact, 1, 1/2in impact, and 1 sawzall made by Nemo. Except for the 1/2in impact they all have had issues, e.g. quick release won't hold screw tip. It remains in release mode. Chucks on 2 drills won't hold drill bits. Sawzall stopped working!? We are not new at this, 32 years as dock builders!For what we have paid for them, they are JUNK!!
