Great steps for the price!
I was happy with the steps- they are a little wobbly at first- but overall I feel safe with the kids using them.

DO NOT BUY- unless you want very bouyant thick worthless plastic
The instructions were poor. I had to watch the YouTube video and pause many times. A Piece broke as I was putting it together but since it was so big and bulky I decided I didn't **need** it.It was difficult to put together las in the pieces did not fit where the instructions said to put them (hence the broken piece)No matter how we weighted this down, it would not stay down. As I was trying to weigh it down more once again, the steps fell apart.I "purchased"these steps June 28(which means they arrived a few days later), today is August 21. They didn't even last 2 months!

Somethings off but not sure what
The steps are easy to assemble. They appear pretty sturdy sitting outside the water. They are sturdy just the same in the water, but easily moved. You are to put 100 lb of sand on the underneath of the steps to weigh them down, however, they still move. We did not get the added part on the railing to connect to the deck. I'm not sure why, but my husband said it was something to do with the way he built the deck. I think it needs more weight underneath so the steps can't move and definitely needs attached to your deck/patio in some way. Other than that it is nice. They wobble a bit for now. My husband is going to make something to keep them attached to the deck and make them more sturdier regarding that. I would recommend thinking that through and buying any other parts you need to keep it sturdy.

Great product, Great company!
These are great for an above ground pool with a metal wall. I purchased this along with model 200700T, spent a couple hours assembling, took my time reading instructions thoroughly, placed 100 lbs of pool sand inside steps to weigh it down and the system is very stable and easy to use. I find some of the negative reviews humorous, some people obviously are installing this wrong or they are trying to install it on a soft wall or inflatable pool. For proper installation this requires a hard solid surface for the top to rest on and attach to. This piece is for inside pool only, you also need a ladder on the outside, I purchased model 200700T to go along with this. Not only is this a great product but the company is awesome. I was missing one small piece from the box, I emailed Main Access and they sent it right out to me, no questions asked!

Nice, but unstable
We have an above ground pool that has a deck that goes around it at the same level. We thought we would be able to put these in but there is nothing to attach it to the pool or the deck. The only thing to keep it in place is are teh weight you put at the bottom. They look great and are just what I expected, just wish for an attachment piece and a better railing.

Terrible quality!
These are wobbly and cheap material… will not withstand multiple summers. Do not waste your money !

Cheaply made, missing hardware, and flimsy
Everything fit together well, but the kit was missing most of the screws needed to secure the parts together. Expect to go to a home improvement store that sells stainless steel screws/nuts/bolts.Additionally, instructions feature pictures of parts extremely close up, and it's a big pain to figure out which section or part they are referring to. They also assume the average person understands which screw is #14 and which is #8. Actual size representations should be included in the instructions. The "assembly videos" they tout are simply the instruction booklet redone as a powerpoint style video. Unhelpful. Now comes the fun part: Getting this thing not to float. You'll need a couple HUNDRED pounds of sand or stone to hold this down. You'll DEFINITELY need to make or buy a vinyl protector/mat (can use vinyl shower liner from a home improvement store...much cheaper), as the weight of the stairs, plus ballast, plus human will be an extreme stress on a liner.Lastly, when stepping on this (normal height and BMI), the steps are flimsy, bulging downwards. Not sure how well this will hold up over time, or with any more weight.
