excellent condition and timely delivered. exactly what I needed to fix my Aaron chair.

There are no instructions to install.Other reviews have said theirs snapped on and off, on my model there was a pin that had to be unscrewed. If you're pulling and it's not popping off, you probably have this model too.

I'm not sure if this is an aftermarket part, or OEM Herman Miller... It honestly doesn't matter, as they are both rather cheaply made. The plastic piece had broken on mine,rendering the posturefit mostly useless. The plastic on the original one seemed cheap and not in the least durable. This replacement piece I bought suffers the same. I wouldn't expect this to last very long with a person of weight. Even for us lighter folks, the flex in the plastic is concerning. If you "max out" the settings, the bend in the plastic leads me to believe that it will be broken in a matter of months. I may scrap the posturefit altogether,and try the lumbar "bar" style attachment. If you absolutely need the plastic posturefit+pad assembly for a Herman Miller Aeron,this will fit as it should. Just don't expect any real durability out of it (especially set and kept at max setting).

I had a feeling this was going to happen. I noticed recently that I did not seem to have much lower back support, but I thought maybe I just got used to the new pad. Today I decided to look closer and sure enough, it's cracked just like the original. Waste of money. The original piece also did not last long, but initially I only sat in the chair an hour or 2 a day, a few days a week, so it did not bother me as much. However, for the last few years I have been working from home full time and sit in this chair 8+ hours a day, so I need good back/lumbar support. When I first looked for a replacement I could only find the whole assembly for over $100, so I tried other cheaper pads and lumbar support pillows but they did not work good. One day while searching amazon I found just this pad part, still pricy for what it is but a lot cheaper than the whole assembly. This pad feels good when its not cracked, but I am not buying a new one every 6 months after spending $1k on this chair. I think it's time for a new chair.

Didn't know I could just replace the PostureFit Butterfly Pad, but I'm glad I looked into it. Super easy to install. The old broken piece just snaps right off and this new one just snapped right in. So BACK to work I go.
