Beautiful purple color and I love the life in the texture... the weight is a bit sturdier than I expected, which makes it even better than what I was thinking it would be since silk can be fairly flimsy. The green tone is only visible if you view it from an angle which adds visual interest and depth (iridescence).I plan to use it as a background over wood to mount a predominantly gold 9 pointed star design that I made sewing seed beads together (about 9 inch diameter).Sure, you can find cheaper purple material, but this is totally worth the money if quality matters for your project.

Beautiful purple silk. It’s slightly brighter than the pictures show... like a true royal purple.
