Buen telescopio para observacion terrestre y observacion de la luna y planetas
Buen telescopio para observacion terrestre y observacion de la luna y planetas, al ser montura altazimutal se pierden facil los planetas si le pones mucho aumento.

Excellent telescope
I purchased this telescope for my grandson. Although he is still young, I wanted a telescope with enough power to allow him to see planets as well as just the moon. This telescope met that desire. The included spotter scope is very helpful. I was surprised and happy to see how sturdy and well-built the included tripod was. Instructions were easy to follow and we were ready to begin viewing in no time. The unit comes with a phone attachment and an app for your phone that will assist in helping you locate various celestial bodies. I also purchase an optional moon filter. Great telescope for a young person. I would highly recommend.

Good telescope but could be better, updated
Originally given 2 stars. I had high hopes for this telescope after weeks of researching different types of telescopes and different brands. This one was supposed to be fairly decent. However, the red dot view finder did not work out of the box which makes the telescope difficult to sight in. The red dot view finder feels very cheaply made and plastic-y. Will return and hopefully will have better look with the next one.Update: 4 stars. Contacted Celestron regarding red dot view finder. Great customer service. Replacement for the finderscope was sent immediately. This new one seems to be better quality than the original. Very pleased with this company and with this telescope.

So great!
I love this telescope. It’s easy to use and gets some great images. I can even see Saturn with the 10mm lens included. So cool!

Good telescope, bad stand that ruins the experience
So I think the telescope portion of this product is decent, especially for beginners. I did not expect this to work out of the box with the snap of a finger. It's a fragile product with lots of sensitive pieces, so getting started, set-up and running took a bit time and getting used to. But the effort is well worth it.However, where this thing really underdelivers is the stand/tripod. Mine is either busted, used or simply not up to the task. I have read some other reviews that indicate that this stand simply is the weak point of the product. Adjustments are too clunky and the slightest touch from anything brings the setup out of alignment. Mine also seemed to have a bad movement system as the film that I believe was supposed to between some inner pieces of the movement reached out of the movement and made the adjustments even tougher.I had to revert to an alternate tripod I had available for my photography purposes, which was much better suited and actually functional. But at this price I expect something working. The telescope itself is good I guess, once you get the object in scope. Finetune the finder at daytime, not at night when you want to focus on actual viewing. It comes with two lenses (?) and they offer a decent different range for different types of objects.I believe to have had a good look at saturn, but let's be honest: Do still not expect more than a look at a bright shiny round white object.Where this shines is getting a better look at the moon. Set that at your goal and you'll be happy with what you got.But as mentioned above, be ready to invest in a different tripod that can be adjusted on three axis or have something available already.

Great, capable, and easy-to-use telescope
This was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old daughter. It’s a little big for her, but the telescope is something that the whole family can enjoy together. We have especially enjoyed looking at our moon and the moons of Jupiter. I am very glad that we did not get the equatorial mount version, as that would have been way too complicated for our kids.

Broken and used
I recently returned this telescope. There was what looked like a factory mis-assembly and it did not work. I ordered the same scope from a telescope store and am quite satisfied with the product. But, unpacking the new scope it was clear that the original had been PREVIOUSLY OPENED/attempted used and there were also ITEMS MISSING in addition to the fact that it must have been returned as broken in the first place.

Fantastic scope at a great price
I am very impressed with this telescope. I had a Meade reflector that cost twice as much. It didn't work well for me since there are so many trees around where I live. It was computer-driven. This is sort of like having a point and shoot camera as opposed to a complicated SLR.The scope was incredibly easy to set up right out of the box. The 90mm is longer than I was expecting but still easy to carry and not heavy. I love the deep blue color. The only complaint I would have is that the accessories tray doesn't fold up with the tripod part, you have to remove it. That is the only drawback I've found thus far.I was able to line up Jupiter easily and see it better than I have before. Could see 4 moons and the bands on it clearly. I haven't been able to see Saturn yet, but should be able to see its rings with the magnification it has with just the lenses that came with it. Can't wait to try out my barlow lens with it.It has great power for such a low price. I still can't believe it was only $200. It is an incredible telescope. I would highly recommend it for beginners or advanced users.
