Excellent quality, and very affordable compared to similar heavy duty steering suspension.
Very nice heavy duty kit. I like the quality and sturdiness of the product.Still needs to install it on my 2006 Jeep TJ which is lifted 2.5 inch to see how it fits and drives, so I will update this review soon with pictures.Packing was great with installation guidelines and all the necessary parts bolts and brackets.I only wish they included some decals :(Update:Easy Install, the ride is much better and the steering feels more tightened especially on bumpy roads,I bought a SS heavy duty track bar to install with this kit, but unfortunately the track bar didn't fit, otherwise i am sure I would feel the huge difference.Tried it on Dune bashing and it was sturdy as hell... so happy with it. easy 5 stars for installation, sturdiness, looks and priceover all,

Crossover Steering Conversion by Rugged Ridge
Several years ago I purchased and installed a Rugged Ridge heavy duty tie rod and drag link for a CJ 7. It was bullet proof and performed very well. I recently purchased a Wrangler TJ and immediately decided to add the Rugged Ridge Crossover Steering Conversion Kit. It is well designed, heavy duty and easy installation. I installed it in less than 2 hours including preliminary alignment adjustment. It improved the handling and feel greatly. I took and had it aligned and it is was certainly worth the price to up-grade.Vehicle;2001 Jeep Wrangler TJTeraflex 4" long arm lift33 12.5 15 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires

Not so rugged
I was so excited to install this product on my Jeep TJ but to my surprise this product failed very rapidly. From the tie rod joints to the dead space this product was a complete waste of both money and time. I just missed the return date so now I’m stuck with this product which means I need to purchase something else and spend more money. Sorry Amazon, it’s not your fault but this product failed me.

Worth every penny
I got a 98 ZJ 4” lift with big ole tires. One of the best parts I’ve gotten. Install is pretty straight forward and easy. Ride is incredibly smoother, handling is significantly better. Parts feel of good quality. Overall I’m definitely satisfied with purchase. If you are questioning if you should spend the money on this or go with factory replacement, I’d go with this 10/10 times. ITS WORTH IT.

ALERT: Needs update info/parts for XJ.
While replacing the rod ends on my RR steering kit, noticed inner threads of the lower rod were BAD. Kit was at just under 30k miles, not a daily driver, not a rock crawler, so I expected rod ends to be worn, but was puzzled about lower rod inner threads. But, hey, c'est la vie.So, ordered the 18050.82 as a replacement. Upon arrival, it won't install properly on a 1999 XJ with a 3.5" kit. That should sound odd, because the 18052.82 kit states for TJ/XJ/ZJ 84-01, with a lift 2-4". No joy.The issue is, 18050.82 ships with a 18043.27 rod end, which has wrong angle for knuckles on a XJ (any year, we compared to another, model '86). The part needed for XJ is 18043.28 make sure to take note.Manufacturer has been informed.First picture above is the NEW kit, with the WRONG (1043.27) rod end. Second picture shows the OLD, CORRECT rod end (18043.28)Other than that, kit installation was straightforward, performance was adequate; a much better part than the somewhat flimsy factory linkage, with the sleeve that collapses if you stare too hard at it.

Excellent product. Outstanding performance over OEM components.
Product quality: As described.Installation instructions: Straight forward and easy to understand.Performance: I installed the kit on my 1999 Cherokee XJ Sport w/3.5” suspension lift.VAST improvement over stock steering components. The ONLY complaint(Not enough of an issue for me to lower my product rating) I have is that when alignment is required; the steering stabilizer bracket MUST be loosened in order to facilitate adjustment of the drag link. Like I said; not REALLY a big deal...just different than that of the stock components which overall is a HUGE improvement over the stock components.

Death Wobble deleted
The media could not be loaded. I purchases this item to replace the same system installed by previous owner of my 2002 wrangler. The tie rod ends and drag link ends were worn causing death wobble at 35 to 40 mph. Im not sure how long the previous upgraded steering links were installed to say how long they lasted. My jeep has 4" lift and 35" tires. After installing parts, death wobble no longer occurs. The kit comes with 2 washers to add to tie rod ends to help with the dead spot in steering wheel. I installed one on each side. The steering is still funny having to constantly correct the steering wheel to keep jeep straight down the road. That may be normal for solid axel front ends I've heard.

All ballll joint boots busted! No customer service!!
Was really impressed with the quality right out of the box. I installed it along with other upgrades and was unpleasantly surprised by a busted ball joint boot where it connects to the pitman arm.. This is after 25 miles of on road driving. Will be contacting rugged ridge tomorrow.Update: Omix-ada customer service has so far proven to be lacking in the one fundamental thing communication. Ive opened a complaint ticket and called and left a detailed message along with pictures showing the products inferior components but havent received any kind of resolution almost 2 weeks later.. This is really disappointing should have just bought Rough Country. Might just have to do that after i return it if i dont receive some kind of communication other that "your comment has been noted".This item was purchased 2/22/21. It was promptly installed and aligned. All the ball joint bellows/boots are now busted. I have tried to get in contact with rugged ridge about it in the beginning of march and here we are 4/14/21 and have yet to hear any word back about anything at all. Went ahead and bought the Rough Country steering kit instead. Dont buy this product you will be disappointed by the lack of customer service and the over all quality of the part.
