There’s a number of things I absolutely love about these! First, and most important to me, it’s actually safe for chicken allergies! A number of products will still use chicken based ingredients in non-chicken based items - like a certain dry dog food uses chicken in its lamb and rice flavor, or another pill pocket brand I used to use for my other dogs had chicken as a main ingredient in its peanut butter, cheese, and hickory smoked flavors. It’s frustrating. But this is safe, and for a great price too!Second, I love that the pill pockets are individually wrapped. It preserves freshness, and makes traveling convenient - especially if you bought a larger bag. Just pack what you need. Third, I appreciate the size of these! My dog’s daily allergy pill is tiny, so I only needed half of a pocket (and there’s a chance it could even fit into 1/4th of a pocket if I really wanted to try) - so for a 30 count bag I could administer up to 60 doses. I just put the other half in a small ziplock bag. The large size is also useful if you have a bigger medication, or need to give several smaller meds at once.Finally, my dog *loves* the taste of the grilled duck flavor. She’s not a picky eater at all so I really don’t have issues giving her meds, but she treated this like a very high value treat.One thing to note, a number of the pill pockets were smooshed so they appeared more like one long flat piece - BUT that’s just the nature of soft products like this! I have yet to find a single brand where every single pill pocket in the bag was perfectly formed. It’s still completely useable. All you have to do is separate off the size you need and either smoosh the pill in the middle (like I did in my second picture), or mold two pieces of the pill pocket around the med(s).

Our little guy, Norman Charles, has battled with allergies and anxiety for the past couple of years. It's resulted in lots of trials and journal writing for us to get his conditions under control. One of the things I looked at was changing all the proteins in his diet. It's hard to find something that doesn't have chicken in it! These were recommended at the pet store we get his food at.At first, the price was a bit of a sticker shock, but thankfully Amazon's Subscribe & Save makes it a little cheaper. Either way, I'd still spend the money as these are limited ingredient and don't have chicken in them. The individual wrapper is a little wasteful, but they stay fresh and I can split one chew up between Norman and his brother, Pappy, who also gets a fish oil supplement. When Norman needs his allergy pill twice a day (which happens intermittently), I can easily get 3 doses out of one chew. They can be a little crumbly when breaking apart or wrapping around a pill, but that doesn't really bother me as they're still moist enough to collect the little pieces back into the chew.As for the flavor, I may not be able to personally speak to that, but both dogs look forward to getting their medicine and get impatient when they hear the wrapper being opened. I'll take that as a great positive. So, limited ingredient, no chicken protein, ease of giving medication plus auto delivery...I'll take that as a win! The ONLY thing that works to get my dog her pills. Whether it’s her monthly flea tick heart worm pill, whenever we need to give her a trazodone, or anything in between, it’s amazing! I originally bought these because she had a UTI and it was so important to get her pills in and nothing was working, now I know how much of a life saver they are and will always keep them on hand. They are super soft, super easy to use as you just wrap around whatever you are giving, she loves the taste of them so much I could give them as regular treats. And chicken free which is HUGE as she’s an allergy girly. I don’t care how much they cost I’d buy them either way, but the price is perfect too!

These are fine. Chose them because I was looking for a product that didn't contain legumes which aren't recommended for my dog per the Veterinary Specialist. However it turned out that they are kind of crumbly, have extra Packaging compared to Greenies and my dogs didn't seem to enjoy the taste very much. I just need them to eat their pills quickly and not spit them out. Decided not to use these anymore especially since they're a little bit more pricey.

These are the best! They don’t fall apart they are easy and pliable and can fit multiple pills in one treat! The pups love the taste. It makes pill time a breeze

In terms of taste and ingredients, this is a high-quality product. Smells just like banana bread! My dog loves them. For practical purposes, I'll say this--there aren't really holes in the ends to put pills into. You kind of have to mash the pill/capsule into the treat or smoosh the treat around the capsule. This is not hard to do as the treat is very pliable. I don't think it's a drawback, but I wanted to share this info. For me, the natural ingredients and the quality are most important. I highly recommend this product.

My dog has really enjoyed these pill pockets. She loves the peanut butter flavor; however, in the most recent bag, nearly every individual wrapper was already open. It might just be a sealing issue, but I usually err on the side of caution when it comes to unsealed food items. We had to discard the entire bag unfortunately.

I love these pill pockets. I've been using them for ages and have them on automatic reorder every month.One of my dogs has *severe* allergies. She cant even look at chicken without breaking out in hives. It's so hard to find dog products without chicken that when I found these pockets, I was THRILLED.They have several "no meat" options and overall they're great. Never dry or stale because they're packaged in 2 inside the bag. Each pocket is a little on the large side, so I break them in half and get 4 per individual package.All my dogs love them and we use them every day!
