Worth it!
I bought three of the 2-pack smallest size to add supports under my wood deck. Other than crawling around under the deck in the dirt, they were easy to assemble, which I did by myself. Given they’re steel and how they’re designed, my deck really feels more secure now to support a pergola and roof. One pack had a piece that was stuck (not even WD-40 loosened it) and had to be returned. I received the replacement pair two days later, even though I hadn’t yet returned the defective one which I since did.Good product and well worth the peace of mind for a stronger and longer-lasting deck.

Good product, fair priced
I use these to support two additional beams I installed perpendicular to my floor joist in my crawl space. They are not holding up the weight of the house as if they were on a main beam, the 4x6 poplar wood beams that I installed are mainly to stop some deflection in my floor. For that these supports are working fantastic! I especially liked the sturdy construction of them and the quality of construction. That said I highly recommend this product.

Worked perfect in adding stability to deck section
We removed the old hot tub from our deck and covered the opening with 4x4 beams and 2x8 boards. We used the jacks to give firmness and take most of the load. If the deck gets wobbly in the future, easy to re-adjust. (Even posts in cement might settle.)Note these do not provide any lateral stability. Suggest the jacks be used, as in our case, where if they fail, no structure is at risk of collapse. (Even if jacked entirely in the air, 2x4 inside each corner prevent it from sliding.)

They do the job if I do mine.
I really don't like my house settling. I really don't like having to crawl through my crawl space and set up these supports. I don't enjoy having to hold the pieces together while I tighten the threads to hold everything in place. It does seem they could attach the top piece onto the threaded bolt, but no brand of supports I have found does. I know I could attach the upper bracket to a floor joist with a hammer and nail, but somehow when I'm lying on my back in the crawl space after squeezing in through the opening, I never seem to have a hammer and nail with me. These supports hold. That's the positive thing from these. They work. Once in place , If I have supported it properly and got it straight up and down on a joist, this jack post will stay there and hold so that I don't have to go through all this again. Some reviews complained the metal of the tube was too light. I have no problem with mine. I'm only holding up one end of a brick house with mine. Maybe they \are trying to hold up an entire stone castle, That might take more than two. Good jacks, Could be better. Best I could find locally or on Amazon.

Good DIY alternative for floor joist support
I bought these to lift up a sagging area of my bedroom floor. There had been water damage previously, and after sistering new joists on, these jacks were able to level out the floor. I simply put one or two solid, concrete blocks under each to get the height I needed. They are not that hard to line up, and get started. Once secured I was able to turn a large, adjustable wrench on them without any trouble to extend them as needed.I used four of them in about six foot by six foot spacing. In many cases, one or two would likely be enough to lift up a small sagging area, such as under a refrigerator.

Exactly the perfect solution for sagging floor
This jack ........ I bought 4 of them...... was what I needed to eliminate the sagging floor around one pier under my house. Mount them on a LEVEL solid concrete block and they will lift an amazing amount of weight. Bottom line is that for $125 (including concrete blocks) I solved a pesky problem that would have probably cost thousands had I hired a professional.

Did the job - but I felt more assembly was required...
Did the job. Be aware that each jack comes as four separate pieces. Top and bottom plate, post tube and jack screw. I didn't like the fact that the jack screw and tube weren't connected and decided to spot weld them. Decided to spot weld the bottom plate while I was at it. The jack screw does have a milled post allowing for the use of a 3/4" open ended wrench. Threads were not greased. Did that myself too. I gave it three stars because I would have expected better assembly - especially the jack screw and the post tube. Seemed really unstable without the extra spot welds. Perhaps this is how they are all built - my first purchase. Just surprised that it seemed so unstable out of the box. My order did include one box with two jack posts.
