I ordered this for a gift to give a new great grandchild to encourage saving as a child. It was very cute, sturdy, and a great first bank. She is too small to use it yet, but I believe it will stand up to a child's use very well.

Giving this 3 starts because the item was dirty upon arrival. It looks as though i got one they may have been returned or someone had opened at some point.Box was ripped and taped like it had been opened, face of elephant had a smudge and the painting quality is not great. Still petty cute. I do like that it is a hard plastic so my kids don't break it & it's a pretty good size "piggy" bank.I expected a little better quality but it will serve its purpose.

This bank is AWESOME for my 3 yr old. We didn't want something ceramic because we wanted her to be able to add money herself without us worrying she'd drop the bank. This is SO cute and I don't worry about her looking and playing with it. :) She can put change in herself.
