The wider teeth helps so much with thicker fur and any mats. Normal spaced teeth don’t let the fur get to the cutting edge. I have two doodles that arrived in bad shape (rescues) and this has helped tremendously.

Really nice product!
Used in combination with the new clipper I purchased this is just the perfect blade for my mini poodle/Bernese. She has a curly but very dense coat and this blade cuts through it with ease. Solid and well made. Worth the investment.
