SP Bel-Art Break-Safe Ampule Opener, 3¾ x 3 x 3¼ in. (F38952-0000)

I am not sure if I doing it right. Ampules explode and glass fragments flew all over the place. Had to throw away the vial of meds.

This product works exactly as advertised, preventing potential cuts and glass shards. Safety and good design is always a five star service to me.

This is really pretty terrible. It gets a 2nd star only because I've found a way to work around its inferiority to make it useful.I have 1ml ampules. This product has the slots for that, but is not designed to actually WORK with 1ml! So it requires manual force by finger tip since the box does nothing to break the ampule as directions indicate.The instructions also fail to mention which direction to place the ampules, so your instinct to face them forward will result in broken glass & spillage everywhere.Probably the most disturbing part is the shoddy, ugly plastic of the unit I received. There are ugly quarter-sized flaws on the front & side which show that the integrity of the plastic is weak in those spots & so this $30+ unit will likely not outlast my 100 ampules.Thanks for the hope of a better way to break ampules, but it would be nice if promises were kept.

I bought this product and it’s not safe to use it. Glass flew all over the place and some glass debris went inside the ampoules. I want my money back.

I was so excited to receive this product. Upon using the product, it broke every ampule I tried. I strongly recommend ordering them $.79 plastic ampule opener from another website because they work so much better than this $35 product, and the brake the ampule with ease. Highly do not recommend this product for it’s trash.

This is great for breaking ampoule bottles. You may have to insert ampoules underneath according to its size but make sure the top door fits around the ampoule top and then slam close to break bottles. Also watch out for flying glass and be sure to use gloves to avoid fine glass. But I highly recommend if you want to safely break ampoule bottles.

For the ampules 2 ml not working well for 1 ml it is ok also 5 ml it is work

Breaks open some ampules without any problems, safe and easy, but others won't open at all or will break everything. Disappointed in that it only holds one size of ampule at a time so its more time consuming if you are in a hurry. Don't really recommend it.
