Q: Is this the authentic "Cap, Knit Watch RN-93084" issued to the US Army?

This is a brand new 100% wool cap; very well made.- while it may not be an actual US Army issue, it's close enough for me because I bought it for actual use; not for collecting..Bottom line: it works as intended and looks great.

Q: What is it made from?

It's made of wool....IIRC 100%. If you wash first, it does soften the wool up, just be careful when you dry it as it will shrink a bit!

Q: so, what color do you get?

Od green, my son got it to be radar oriellybfor Halloween and he wears it all the time.

Q: Is the cap cut like the M1941? Or is there excess at the top and baggy?

It's the best replica of the 1941 cap! There was a little extra material at the top, so I washed and put it in the dryer and kept trying it on until it was nice and snug. From what I understand the WW2 soldiers actually did the same thing, shrinking it for that snug fit! I wear it everyday in the Winter!!
