It is better than I expected based on the photo and for the price. Thicker, more durable, yet still soft material versus similar items on the market I’ve bought. Very brightly colored with excellent design clarity. Flows beautifully as I walk. It was exactly what I wanted.It was hard to get a photo myself, but I did the best I could. Yes, I dress more eccentric than your average citizen. lol But hopefully you can overlook my taste, see how gorgeous the colors are, and visualize how it might work for you. I am 5’ 5” tall and as you can see, if I were any shorter it would drag on the ground. This piece can actually be surprisingly versatile despite the fact it has a lot of busyness going on visually. NOTE: The particular style that I purchased is essentially a Kanga. So some people may find it disrespectful to wear if you don’t understand the cultural significance. Some reviewers are saying it says weirdly offensive stuff in Japanese... no. Thankfully, It doesn’t. And if there are similar words in the Japanese language with a more ominous meaning, it is purely coincidental. It really says: “Majivuno Hyafai” which translates to: “Greed is never useful” in Swahili. Quite positive and fitting of our current social climate, don’t you think?Anyway, it’s a great quality piece. For the money you’d be truly hard pressed to find better. I wear it frequently and have had several compliments on it. Came packed really nicely, which I appreciated. I have a feeling this is the original seller of this design because it’s really quite beautiful.

I love the pattern & fit. I'm 5'9" and the length is perfect. The only bad part about this beautiful kimono is the material wrinkles really bad. 🙄

I’m 5”3 and 155-160 pounds and this thing is way too big for me. I’m guessing the “one size” was designed for much larger women. Other than the design, it’s not at all like what’s pictured. I was looking for something more fitted to wear this summer. I got it for a great price, so I’ll likely gift it to someone. The model in the picture must be wearing one that was custom made.

I am 5'5" tall. It reaches about to my ankles. The colors are vibrant. The fabric of not as lightweight as i anticipated. I'm very glad I purchased it.

I love this kimono. I first thought it was polyester from the feeling of it but after washing it turned out to be soft well woven cotton. Feels great on my skin. The print is gorgeous, very bright and fun. I checked what the words on it mean: "Greed is useless" laugh. I find that sweet! I am petite and there was too much fabric in the back so the sleeve holes were a bit low for my taste, so I cut some off and made it tighter in the shoulders. If you like it very kimono-y and hanging down from your shoulders it should be fine. I'm 5'3 and it touches my ankles. The arms are 3/4 length.

The words do not translate to those mean things the other 2 reviewers were saying. They clearly misinformed. majivuno hayafai directly translate to “ it is not appropriate to be proud” from Swahili to English. It tells us not be of ego/ pride. Do your own research. For Fit make sure you measure and keep in mind it’s only $20.00 and sold on Amazon. Waiting for mine to arrive will update when it comes.Arrived today: light weight, shoulders are made weird like you can stuff shoulder pads in there. Patterns are really cute, colors are bright and bold. Would recommend or even buy for a friend. Just found out Chuy one of the words on the robe is a luxury kimono name brand (I’m assuming this is an bootleg of that brand)
