Bones Bearings Press Puller - Bones Bearing Tool - Bones Skate Tool

I live by the beach in Miami and use my longboard to get around almost everywhere, including to and from work as far as 6 miles each way. with all the puddles, sand and surprise florida downpours, i end up cleaning both mine and my girlfriends bearings quite often. I personally don't like using my trucks axles to pry out the bearings so I wanted something that I could use regularly to do this without damaging the bearings. This tool is amazing, its the size of a large keychain trinket, just a few inches long but made sturdy of all metal. The two balls on the end retract when you push the button at the top, allowing you to push it through the bearing, release the button and easily pull the bearing out, if you have spacers like me, you can use this tool just like your truck axels, insert it into the bearing, and use it as a lever to pry the bearing out. it fits so well into the center of the bearing that this causes no damage whatsoever. and it works just as well to push them back in.

I bought this tool out of sheer laziness, but also ti spare the bearings that I felt were still usable. Instead of forcing them out with a screwdriver, it was better for them to be removed by this too. I bet there is another tool in my toolbox that I could have used other than a screwdriver to pry the bearings out, but I wasn't in the mood to find it. I resorted to buying this tool, so that it would be easier. It does work great though. If you are a casual skater and want to change your own wheels and bearings, you should think about it. It really does a great job of getting those bearings out of those old wheels!

I'm able to clean my quads and inlines now. YAY!

27SEP2022: Had since 2014. Nice and compact tool. Can push and pull bearings like it’s supposed to. Still looks as if I just pulled it out of the box. No rust. Only wish the handle was a bit larger since I’ve got large hands. But I’m just being picky.

I ordered the Bones Bearings Press Puller excited to use it. I bought new skates and wanted to change the wheels for a more comfortable ride outdoors. When I attempted to remove the bearings from the stock wheels, the tool wouldn't grasp them. I watched a few tutorials to make sure I was doing it right (which I was.) I ended up using the axels on my skates to remove the bearings. The tool was helpful pushing the bearings back into the wheels at least. I ended up returning the tool thinking it was a defect. It was when I looked more thoroughly at the reviews that I learned the tool wasn't defective. It wasn't grasping the bearing because of the spacers in my skate wheels. Had the Seller mentioned this in the product description, I would not have wasted my time buying it. Overall, this tool is awesome if you don't have spacers. Regarding the seller, they were quick to deliver and quick to refund my money.

This thing is cool if you wanna pull yout bearings out super quick without damaging them then this tool is the one you want. Ive been skating awhile and have messed up several sets of bearing due to removing from old wheels. Tapping them out of the wheel or using your truck to get them out can damage the outter race which will no longer roll good. So if this problem is what your having i suggest this awesome tool. Easy to carry and small so fitting it in your pockect is not a problem. Thanks Bones awesome product.

I must say i was thinking I would not get much use from this tool. Soon after I got it I was able to clean my bearings. Then a friend needed the same after I told them about what I did and then found myself pulling, cleaning and using this tool to Press their bearing with this tool and was even better at doing that the second time and got paid making this tool free. ;)So This is a buy in my book and fits in my skate bag very well.
