These are great lights for accent lighting in a vehicle. I cut these down and mounted them under the dash and behind the fronts seats of a 2016 GMC Yukon.I only needed a single LED light in red, but being hard to find, I bought these LED strips. Since I needed just the one LED, cut the strip to three LEDs and cover two of them with with black electrical tape. These strips are set in groups of three, so you can cut between the 3rd and 4th LED, or the 6th and 7th LED.The only negative thing I found was the adhesive tape on the backside of each strip. The strips come four to a package and are coiled inside the box. Coiling of the strips caused the adhesive backing to come loose in some parts of the strip. I don't know if that was the cause, but some of the LED strips did not adhere well to the surface under my dash.Each strip has a pigtail about 6-inch long and the wires look to be about 24 AWG. All in all, a good light strip, though.Pros:- variety of colors available- bright output- relatively low costCons:- adhesion not the best

The media could not be loaded. The peel & stick part came off when I tried to stick them in my roller skates. I had to purchase other double sided tape so the product would adhere to my skate. I also used a zip tie to make sure they stayed on. The strip was long enough to go all the way around my skate. So 1 strip light & 1 9V battery is all I need per skate now. Much better.

I wired connectors on the 12v of my pc psu and to these and installed them. They looked awesome in my computer until the one strip shorted for what ever reason. When it did it didn't trip my psu or blow it but instead my psu delivered the current this now shorted out strip is pulling at 12 volts. The whole wire heated up, melting the insulation from one end to the other, eventually getting the wire hot enough for it to break and it stopped. I was just gaming on some BeamNG.drive and I look over at my pc pouring smoke out of it. My first thought is "oh god no my graphics card got to hot and it's melting/frying itself". To my relief it was just the LED strip. I did look to see where it shorted out to see if it was something I did wrong or if there was an obvious spot missing insulation or something. But like I stated earlier the insulation on the wire was melted all the way up to the LED strip itself. Which makes me think the short was internal. I definitely didn't expect this from these. I've ordered lots of LEDs and LED strips off ebay from china for the cheap cheap, and these where much nicer in quality then those, it seemed. Now I don't even think I should use the other ones I have left over.
