These do a good job of shaping the bread into a sandwich bun. The mesh results in even browning on the bottom and no sogginess. Just portion your dough, place it in the mold, let it rise and bake it. The outside 2 sections are not sturdy enough to support the dough so they will bulge outward without something to hold them. This can be mitigates on 1 side by placing the mold on the edge of the bakers pan to support that edge. I actually cut mine into a 3 loaf and a 2 loaf mold, since I don't envision ever making 5 at one time, and made an aluminum support that fits my sheet pan to hold the unsupported side. I'll try to remember to get a picture of it to show what I used.

I admit, I was concerned if this would work. I put it on a cookie sheet for support and had perfect results. I made a whole grain dough and froze the loafs. They turned out amazing on my first try. Thank you for a wonderful addition for our kitchen.

This item makes it easy to go from forming to proofing, fermenting and baking! I’ve made dozens of baguettes already and love the flexibility to just flour the couche and put in the fridge just to pull out and place in the oven the next day without having to transfer tender dough onto a different cooking surface.

it is super floppy, you cannot pick it up by itself, have to use a cookie sheet beneath. the the tiny holes hold flour, cannot seem to brush it out.other than that, it works. makes hoagie buns come out nice shape.

I wanted to try making Subway at home. Very pleased with the results!
