Product description ------------------- An ET-281* Series is THE ideal sublimation printer. Due to the ink tank that is built into the printer there is no need for any retrofitting of a CISS or RIC. Therefore, this is by far the easiest printer to set up for sublimation printing. Just pour in the ink and go! Perfect for those just starting out, and experienced users alike. WHAT IS SUBLIMATION PRINTING? Sublimation is the process of transferring a printed image onto a surface through heat and pressure. Mugs that have images on are usually produced in this fashion, but that is not all. Sublimation can also be used for fabric printing, glass picture tiles, custom phone cases, and much more. Not only are these printer series easy to use, but they offers excellent value and include some amazing functions you won’t find on other printers. The main attraction of this printer is the ink tank, and the biggest advantage of it is the fact that it will never ask for ink. No ink out messages will interrupt your printing, meaning you can stack up the paper feed and leave it printing indefinitely. In other words the printer will never stop printing as long as it has ink in the tank and paper in the feed. For this reason alone multiple customers have switched to this system. Moreover, the print quality is outstanding for a 4 colour machine. Images are rich in colour and transferred images lose no detail. Ink Tec Sublinova Smart inks are one of the most renowned and high-quality sublimation inks available on the UK market. They also offer the added ability to be used as a direct to garment ink in DTG printers making use of Micro Piezo print head technology. Epson Original inks are not supplied with this printer. Legal Discler ---------------- Ink Experts recommend the use of Windows based PCs/Laptops/s. It is also strongly recommended that all printers be used with the provided USB cable, even if the printer has a wireless function. Support for the following devices will be discontinued as of 11/11/2020; All Apple devices; iMac, Macbook, iPad, and iPhone. Android devices; Chromebook, all mobile telephones and s. Linux based systems. The decision to cut support for these devices comes down to colour correction. Devices listed above do not offer, cannot currently use, or completely ignore custom ICC profiles. ICC profiles are a necessity when trying to achieve accurate colours with sublimation printing, and without their use the finished result will not be as desired. Support for purchases before this date will still be offered, but updates made to your system after 11/11/2020 will not be covered in our technical support. This decision may change in the future if support for ICC profiles is made available for these devices, or in the case of Apple Macbooks and iMacs, when Apple correct their ongoing issues with colour correction.
