I needed a deck flap arranged that precise and tightly fitting model rails did not snag on lifting the flap. This needs a hinge point at least 2cm above the deck. This hinge provided both that and a means of fixing to both fixed deck and lifting flap if mounted with the back of the hinge uppermost. Mounted as a pair with careful alignment and an extra round headed screw holding down the centre of the back edge of the fixed deck mounting it is working very well, but the fine adjustment is now concealed tight to the deck. I could not find a purpose designed hinge.

Needs to state door thickness on purchase information. no use for my doors.
