Worked great! I let my fume board sit for 15-20 mins - bees moved to the brood box and I was able to harvest honey PDQ.

It serves the purpose for the most part on some of the hives. Other hives, the bees seem to hover to the felt as if they liked the scent. I am not too sure if this is the deal breaking method to super removal but may help clear some more than smoke alone.

I've been keeping bees for 12 years now and the part I hated most was pulling the super boxes at harvest time. I didn't want to use the foul-smelling Bee Go product and the Bee Gone product just didn't work. I'd pull the supers and when I went to remove the frames for processing there would still be hundreds of bees hiding inside. I also used a leaf blower to drive the bees out, but they flew back in. It also wasn't unusual to get a few bee stings during the process.This time I used Bee-Quick and a battery-operated blower/fume board that I purchased from Dadant, and within 10 minutes the supers were totally cleared. The few bees that migrated back to the super after I removed it and before I bagged it for transport, were easily blown out by the leaf blower, and no stings!I wish I had used this stuff before.

I have used Bee-Quick for clearing honey supers and helping me when I am swarm catching. I use it to keep the swarm off of the original landing spot and move closer to my box. Best product on the market for these uses!

I used this on a paper towel because I don’t have a fume board, within a minute (2 at the most) all my bees were out of the super! I grabbed 5 frames to spin and then will swap them out when I pull the other 5 in a week or two. I was very happy to see the bees returning to the super just as I got my 5 frames pulled which made me feel comfortable that the scent was not too strong for them. I had no additional bees on the outside through the process or after. I will absolutely purchase again!
