Simple as can be
1996 jeep grand cherokee i replaced all exhaust pipes and muffler. This converter slipped right into place and fit perfectly. The 02 sensor bung and all other welds are fantastic. I got a new sensor to go with it and it threaded in no problem after multiple drives I found it works great! For the people fixing their own cars on a budget I highly recommend this option

Cheap and difficult
Yes it’s cheap, there’s a reason why. The the downstream bank 2 o2 sensor bung is welded in so that the rear of the sensor makes hard contact with the trans (nsg370). The inlet pipes are too close together by 1/4”. Aside from the poor fitment, the pipes are nicely made. I installed it myself and I regret not buying a name brand unit. It’s a real pain because of the fitment issues.Update: 2 years and 4000 miles later I have intermittent p0420 codes again. If you absolutely need a cat on a serious budget, this will work with some effort.

Good but not perfect.
Kit overall was good. Works like its supposed to. Only problem is that the mounting bracket ( the diagonal bracket that is attached to the converter itself) that attaches to the engine is not the correct angle. I have a 2011 Jeep patriot 2.4l 4×4. I was not able to use the existing bracket that came on the original maniverter. That is the only problem i had. Exhuast gaskets that came with the kit was good. No leaks and the it sealed perfectly. The maniverter comes covered in an oily film. You can just let it burn off or brake clean it off

Perfect replacement
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 was stalling and backfiring. This fit perfectly and resolved the issue (along with a new muffler)

For the price and How quickly you get it modified and done!
I love people who pay bottom dollar for something and turn around and complain because it’s not perfect. I took the information given and decided to order it and give it a shot. For the money it saved me and the little extra time it took me to adjust the new ones to fit. It worked out perfect. Now as for longevity we will see. I will follow up in 6 months and at 1 year. Thank you for making this very inexpensive option that was easy to adapt and install as long as you modify it before hand as instructed.

Does not fit as described.
Not as described. Does not fit all TJ models. TDescription says it will fit all Tj models. It did not fit my 2006 Tj unlimited. The O² sensor ports did not have the same position as the original catalytic converter/exhaust system on my 2006 Tj unlimited. There was a short caused because the bank 2 sensor 2 port position puts the wires pinched against the transmission which fired my ECM.

Works but not a easy install
Works great once you get it on. I had to cut off some tabs and brackets on it off and remove the valve cover to get this in. It is bigger then the OEM one that slides right out. But it will work just takes more time then it should.
