Forschner Knives 40450 Victorinox Boning Knife with Blue Fibrox Handles

I always have used Victorinox cutlery for processing game and BBQ prep. Its no surprise that this knife didnt disappoint. Well made slip resistant handle, high quality steel blade that arrives professionally shaped and sharpened. The edge is incredibly sharp and like most I have seems to hold a usable edge for a long time. Even after deboning and entire deer.I am careful with my knives and do my best to keep the edge in shape throughout whatever type of processing I am doing. It’s much better to keep it tuned up than trying to completely resharpen a knife and this one is no different. You get much more life out of them. As a home BBQ chef and butcher, I highly recommend this brand, and in particular, this knife. If you are looking for a great, durable utility boning knife you won’t be disappointed in this one. And the value is unbeatable.

I’ve used these knives for 20 yrs and this one is no exception. This one is for boning out venison Sharpens well and holds a good working edge. I might have to sharpen it twice when boning out a whole deer.

I have several of this company’s knives and I have had no problems with them. These knives are sharp and hold an edge. My go to for butchering deer, turkeys, pigs, beef.

Boning knives MUST BE FLEXIBLE. Total waste of money if you are looking for a Boning Knife

Item is twice the price with the rosewood handle but works exactly the same. Fibrox handle feels good and secure in my hand. I'm happy with this purchase.
