GOOD GUITAR BAG

This is a well-made, sturdy gig bag for the money. I would feel confident using this gig bag for a jam session or a local gig. If I were touring the country I'd go with hard shell cases, but since I no longer gig due to health problems, that's not a concern for me. So, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great for the price. I wouldn't do any hardcore gigging with anything other than a hardshell, but for bopping out to jam once in a while, this is a great choice.

I mostly use this to keep one of my guitars in when I'm not actively using it. I probably wouldn't use this for drop protection or anything like that, but it's good for keeping dust off and for lightweight protection. Its a better value than many gig bags out there, but you can get more protection if you buy a higher end one.

This is a great gig bag for my electric guitar. A hard case obviously would be better.. The zipper... I've seen other gig bags that the zipper is on the bottom side when the guitar is carried. This gig bag the zipper is to the top when carried AND between the handles. Zippers do fail. If this zipper fails the gig bag won't dump my guitar on the ground. It has a zip pocket on the top for your strap or cleaning cloth or maybe a thin music book. I have other Gator cases and they are all great.

Let's be honest.... hard cases are the way to go, but sometimes, you just need something cheap. Well, this gig bag is not made with cheap materials. It is very sturdy and in my opinion, should last the life of the case. The inclusion of the backpack style soulder straps is great for people who have to walk any distance with their guitar. I recommend this for anyone that cannot afford or does not want to pay for a hard case.

It is not my first gator case. Probably will not be my last. Bought this one for my Jackson Dinky six string. Good quality, padding is supportive. Zippers are good and secure. Front pocket is convenient. I wouldn't go around slamming it around being rough and wreckless with it. Wouldn't recommend for touring or gig use. Buy yourself a hard case and protect your instrument. Padded cases in my opinion are for home use and storage to protect against dust and dirt, etc. Good product, good company.
