Easy
My water was so heavily chlorinated and dense with mineral i couldnt use it. I had to always go buy bottled water, so i got a water softener. But cant ise satled water so i got an r/o water system which is "empty". I can control mineral density with this. Extremely helpful. Just shake before every use

Insufficient kh
This product really does not add to ikh. You have to bring the gh too high, to get kh. I returned to Salty Shrimp for neos.

If they fix their bottles do it
Bottles leak during shopping every single time I've ordered so I'm not buying more but my shrimp like it since I had to use what was left for the food of shrimp kind

Didn't raise KH!
I added this to RO/DI water at the recommended dose and it didn't raise the KH at all. It did raise the GH but not to the level that was listed on the bottle for that dosage.

Makes life easier
With this there's no more measuring out salt and worrying about getting the dosing wrong

the dosing formula does not equal the desired gH
I agree with one of the other reviews that the concentration if the formula is not accurate. I make 5 gal batches with RO water. I have added 2 pumps ( 4 ml ) to reach the +1 gH value ( more like 3 or 4 pumps. I like the ease of the liquid, but I would like to get the value for my $$.
